Had a good feeling about today but it is always the sweetest win against the auld enemy.

Not a signature Wigan side but we made them look ordinary today.

Great discipline today, very few errors and top execution. Not too much big match experience in that side and they really performed.
That should do this side a lot of good mentally.

Agreed about Leeming but he can moan for Yorkshire! Chelping at the ref at nearly every PTB. Reminds me of Cam Smith so might not be a bad thing if you can get away with it!

I genuinely cant single anyone out today. The entire team from coaching staff to 1-17 the entire team was magnificent for 75 mins. A total masterclass of playing in those conditions.

A very good performance Leeds forwards totally dominated the Wigan pack. Agar got the game plan spot on.

Massive congratulations to Ian Watson and the Salford team, he’s doing a brilliant job there. I’d say we’d start as favourites, but Warrington probably thought the same...

The Polish lad is a very good player. Your pack steamrolled Wigan today. Agar said in the pre-match interview what was needed and his team executed that perfectly.

Gale needs to play well if Leeds are going to do anything - the pack really stepped up today and gave the platform.

I loved our skill level in wet and cold conditions. Our soft errors often kill us but we are very competitive when we play tight and disciplined.

Controversially; we probably have the best kicking game since Tony Kemp now; also I’m not sure whether I prefer Myler to Walker at FB at this stage of Walker’s development. Myler is very good just roaming about, supporting and mixing.

How good will Mik and Tom be in another 2-3 years? Got to like what Salford have achieved getting to the two finals in consecutive years. Let’s hope both sides can make it to the final without further injuries and make a good spectacle.

Oledski will be an international next year he’s come on a huge amount since Agar took over.

Also really pleased for Salford!

Next year should be a real push season for us, the platform is there. It’s whether we’ll have the resources for those couple of real quality signings...

I liked Hurrell on the right today as well.

Tony Kemp for mine was one of the worst players we have had at 6.My grandma was faster than him absolute carthorse. He did have a decent kicking game but no where near as good Sinnys.

Congratulations, that was as good a wet weather performance as I have seen, superk kicking and kick chase game and excellent discipline with and without the ball.

Not the best Wigan team we have ever faced, but still plenty of threat. We were clinical and thoroughly deserved the win in atrocious conditions which we played to perfection.

I rarely post on here but have been a rhinos fan for over 20 years. What amazes me on this forum is that as soon as we come up with a poor result or poor performance, some on here (I’m sure you know the ones I mean) are straight in with the criticism and moaning but when we pull out a performance like today, they are nowhere to be seen, not a single word uttered! The silence speaks for itself!

Kemp was a good player for Leeds, IMO. Unfortunately much of his time at the club coincided with the collapse of the pre-Hetherington era so he had to play alongside teammates of mixed quality. I agree he wasn't the fastest but he was still a very skilful player.

Tony Kemp is what we came away with when we went for Tawera Nikau...

That’s not far from bang on. Certainly the most controlled performance. Very dominant, but completely controlled in the way we went about it.

I am not really a big fan of Leeming, but thought he was excellent for that first 50 mins, and really see the foundation for Gale to play off.

Fair point. I'm happy to admit I've been wrong about few things.

1) Hurrell is a machine and a legend, definitely worth Marquee money.
2) nothing wrong with the desire and conditioning of these boys now. Spot on!

We shouldn’t get carried away but we are so much more competitive now than we have been in recent years.

We need to have a good look at Jack Walker before the final but wouldn’t be surprised if it was basically the same again.
