Hall is usually solid under the high ball, stryuggled over the last couple of weeks, but before then he rarely dropped a thing. He has shown glimpses in attack (Huddersfield away, 80m try), but IMO it's no contest, Smith is the better player.
Smith is hugely underrated by alot of Leeds fans IMO, he's been very good for a couple of seasons now, and I actually think he will move to fullback once Webb leaves in 3/4 years.

BJB has shown alot of potential, and is playing well in the academy. However Smith was looking as good if not better at a similar stage in his career, so let's not get carried away and put pressure on him. I think McClennan is handling the young players well, I think it's important that we hold back Watkins for another season, until he's more physically developed.

Why shouldn't they be embarrassed for writing off a young player in his 2nd season (could even have been his first) without good reason?

I thought Dazzy went to work in Poland and at the same time his colleague Snizer began posting. The latter went to live in Somerset at the same time Dazzy returned from Poland and hasn't posted since.

I still maintain that Smith would make a better winger than Hall and, as with last weeks game, both of Halls tries were simple ‘finish off’s’ that any SL winger could have scored.

In fact if Bluey put ME outside Senior I’d have as many opportunities as Hall does.

It's Ryan Halls third season and we are now starting to see the best of him (we are also maybe seeing just how good Senior is). I cannot understand fans who jump on young players backs, writing them off when they go through a bad patch. Hall did go through a bad patch last year but in that instance fans should have been supporting him, not bitching about him.

Leeds fans have a reputation for being fickle but reading through this it's pleasing that the majority stood by him and only a couple didn't.
