I walk past it pretty much every day, and it looks like she just opens it whenever she fancies opening it. Some days it is open, and on others it looks derelict.

Likewise i noticed it was closed..and having passed up an earlier chance for grub too


I did hear from a member of staff when in there at the Salford match that they were under new management AND there were staffing issues/opening hour changes.
If i recall it was closed for Cas match,which could confirm it.

It was them country folk complaining that they only got 5 fish fingers only , when you average Cas fan usually has at least 6 fingers

Hmmm, why buy a Fish and Chip Shop and then pass up the opportunity for an almost bi-weekly trade-fest lasting no more than 90 mins?

Surely, you would draw up-regular opening times to suit the local and the student population (one would suggest early evenings during week running through to late evening on Friday & Saturday) and then open before every home game without fail, whenever that might be?

yes lat few times they seem to have had different staff and been in a muddle but not bad value, fish,chips an peas £4 any we made do with wilsons pork pies at £2 a throw

I mean the Stanks one, used to be lovely there. Always had them on a Friday night before going to Swarcliffe WMC with my Grandma. Albeit about 13 years ago!

I go to Coes now or Nash's in Chapel A when i'm at work. Both nice chippys, just a tad expensive.

Must be well ace queue jumping at these places. I remember going in they on a busy day and it took two hours for my food to be served. Since that day I just get take away from there.

I remember once going in with a plane spotter. Longest day of my life!
