In the 1960-61 season Rosenberg broke the club record for the number of tries scored in a single season which I think may well still stand. I would have thought you knew that? It sometimes is recorded as 48 tries but I remember it as 44, maybe there was a Lazenby cup or something like or just perhaps inflation!

2 - I do know the Leeds club record for tries in a season by an individual, hence the reason for the question.

3 - The 44 figure is accurate but only represents the 5th best total by a Leeds player for the Leeds club.

Only someone as pedantic as you could be confused by what I stated. My post is not inaccurate. Rosenberg is a record holder and has always been considered so. There are many different types of records and post war is one of them.

Most people might consider the club's greatest ever try-scorer (defined by season and by overall total) to have rightfully earned his place in Leeds' history.
