We have to trust Bluey's judgement on the fitness levels of both Ali and Eastwood,As IMO both will be selected if they are 100% fit, as they are both game breakers.

If both can't be risked in such a high profile game then i would have no hesitation in picking Kirke over either player

IMO If they are both deemed fit to play, then IMO Kirke will miss out along with Scotty and that Clarkson will start in the 2nd row alongside JJB, and Ablett will be on the bench, Eastwood will be the interchange prop

How are people talking about Eastwood not being 100% fit? He's had 3 matches under him now where he hasn't looked "unfit". Baffling.

IMO, I think Clarkson, Kirke and Ablett should all play and Diskin to miss out, Buderus can play the full 80 and we need a big bench to match Warrington.
Bluey will pick Diskin though.

Not sure how some can say Ali is going to be fitter than Eastwood either. Ali has hardly played much since his 10 or 12 weeks out injured. I believe Eastwood has played more minutes recently. I have a nagging doubt Clarkson will make way and Ablett who wont be match fit and Kirke getting the nod.

I have a bad feeling that Clarkson will miss out on selection, hope i'm wrong as he deserves to be in the 17 on form.

Ablett has also been one of our best players all season!

I agree it's definitely a straight choice between Kirke and Clarkson - personally I'd pick the latter's work rate over the former's bulk.

Disagree - For me its between Kirke, Ali and Eastwood for 2 spots.

Assuming Ali and Eastwood are both 100% (I'd think they should be close by now) I agree with what someone said above - they're match winners and will play. Ali as interchange SR and Eastwood as Interchange Prop.

If Eastwood is prop he should be very clearly told to keep the fancy stuff to a minimum and focus on not missing tackles and notdropping the ball.

TBH the thought of Ali & Eastwood both getting picked worries me. As you say, they can both be match winners but for me their deficiencies are too similar - pick them both and you've created quite a weak spot in terms of fitness & stamina. And believe me, it could be a very pacey game on Saturday, quite possibly played in hot conditions. That's the one major selectional dilemma in my book; I don't think any other, e.g. Donald v Smith, is likely to have a major influence on the outcome.

Speculation IMO as he has played for the last 2 months. FWIW I reckon he'll make this team but if the rumours (and im hearing them from places away from the MBs) are true about Peacock he may miss out.

Out of them 2 I think Kirke may miss out with Eastwood getting the nod ( Even with a little cloud over his head ) :-p
