Weve battled relegation 3 out of last 4 years, people forget that. To have all we had against us this year to make the playoffs is a great achievement.

Our side has been all over the place, we’ve barely selected the same side two weeks running. Lots of kids playing, and too many at once sometimes.

Making the play-offs with the worst injury crisis I can remember is pretty good going.

Weve also played more games than some, which is why a 5th spot finish would be good, much prefer to be going to Wigan rather than Warrington

Think he may get a ban. Not too dissimilar to Tetevano on Bateman which resulted in 3 matches. Don't expect him to get that but would be surprised if he plays next weekend.

Yes mate it’s a day earlier but Wigan haven’t been great. Especially if we have Mik and Tet back for that one I think we can take them down the middle.

With that I would now be suprised if Hurrell and Lui play this week.

I think with little riding in this game you're more likely to see Hurrell play. Anyone with something to take care of should be looked to rest.

Hurrell as impact of the bench would be an option and give him a last run out in front of headingley crowd

I don’t agree little is riding on this game, yes if we lose we’ll still make the play offs, but we’ll be going into them after back to back losses and one of those to Hull KR to face Warrington away.

Win the game and we travel to Wigan which is a more appealing fixture and with the confidence up. We’ll have a few more players back for Wigan, beat them and we may have even more bodies back for week 2 of the play offs and we can beat anyone on our day with a strong side out.

It’s about building some form going into playoffs now. Play a strong team (as much as injuries allow) and put in a good performance.

It’s the final home game of this year too, the club needs to entertain the fan base.

Give Hurrell the swansong, and probably Lui too but have some cover. Both may “do a Shenton” but will give us some punch while they’re on.

I really don’t think we are good enough / deserve to take the title this year. However this is sport and crazy things can happen. I am absolutely sure the team will give the next games their best crack.

We're unlikely to win the whole thing. The best chance we can give ourselves is by finding some form, and you don't do that from the stands. Play the strongest team and go as far as we can.

Real shame for Shenton to go out like that last night, a quality professional and quality person.

Agreed, I really felt for him last night, not how you want to end your career, he seems a thoroughly decent guy and has been a fabulous player for Cas.

I think What it shows you is even if there is nothing to play for (like Warrington last night) at this end of the year you need to be hitting some form, I don't see what us resting players tonight achieves we need to be sending out our best possible side. And has someone mentioned I think the fans deserve that.

Yep a good servant to the sport for many years. A real solid pro and players player. Shame to end like that but hes had a good career.

Agreed. From the same junior club my kids played for and still lives in the area. You wouldn't find anyone who has a bad word to say about him, hope he stays in the game somehow.

I hope they have 4XXXXL for Hurrell - he will be a hell of size by now
