| If we play like we did v Toronto Barbarians this evening, you guys will win by at least 20 points. 2 poor teams on show tonight, especially with the ball.

| Potential banana skin this one. Dependent on injuries I would go:
Walker/Golding
Briscoe Moon Handley Hall
Lilley Myler
Oledzki Parcell Cuthbertson
Ward Ablett
Delaney
Dwyer Keinhorst Mullally Smith/Ferres

| Am I the only one who thinks its about time Cuthbertson actually stood up and played a good game as a normal prop? Never mind the offloads, we need grunt. Our most experienced remaining prop trying to play stand off is a luxury we can't afford.

Apparently, Cuthbertson was brought back a month early, and it's shown in his performances since his return, but I agree, I think he's getting in the way a lot of the time, and him trying to play in the halves is one of the reasons we look so disorganised.

Agreed, the question being has Brian Mac instigated this tactic.

I know what you're saying, but reality does have to kick in at some point. Dropping our only recognised & experienced prop the week of a CC QF (our only chance of silverware left) probably isn't an option anyone would take for such a minor "offence".

| Its not a minor "offence" - its not an offence at all. Just ridiculous that when we're down on big forwards our most experienced prop isn't actually doing the basics of his job. As for bringing him back a month early, if true then both BM and Cuthbertson are idiots and have learned nothing from 2016.

However I would like to see Moon back to 3, Lilley at 6 and Keinhorst off the bench to cover the forwards over Walters / Golding.

| Think i would have Golding on bench instead of Dwyer. Im happy with Golding covering full back/wing/hooker on bench.
Parcell isnt type to want a rest so he wouldnt need to play 9 for long if at all but i think hes done a job there when hes been there. Can use Dwyer spot for another forward then.

Golding has to play and best defensive fullback for the physical early changes. Not sure why you think Dwyer should play. Walker off the bench would add impact and Golding could move to 9 to keep Parcell fresh

they've probably sold only a 1000 tickets. sooper league is all that matter, it's on tv and they will win 60-0 anyway, they are that good.

60-0 eh, I wonder where you’ve picked that impression up from because it’s certainly not off this forum.

| I prefer playing players in their positions which is why I’d always have Dwyer coming on to spell Parcell.

| Just as I'd like to see Cuthbertson just concentrate on the dirty work, I'd also like Walker to start having more impact on games for longer periods. I've literally seen nothing from him yet to justify the once in a generation hype from last year. He's got talent but he needs to impose himself on play far more than he does. The odd break or pass doesn't cut it for me.

I think that’s slightly harsh on Walker. He’s been in and out with injury and his body is still developing physically. That aside, he’s made the step up to SL seemingly effortlessly and will get better and better. He always looks like he’s capable of breaking through the line, and as he develops physically he’ll be making more breaks.
I’ve no doubts whatsoever that, injuries permitting, he’ll be a big name in RL

| Actually I'm more having a pop at those who back every kid who plays a handful of decent games as the new messiah. I think Walker has a lot of potential but if you're being honest this year he hasn't done much apart from the odd highlight. Injuries or not he's scored just 2 tries since his debut in 20 games from last year to this. Golding has managed more than that. Lets be honest, neither of them have the influence of a really top class full back yet.
I know the game has changed a lot, but easily the best 18-year old I've seen in England was Garry Schofield. He was a far, far better player at 18 than either Walker or Golding. Now he was a once in a generation player. Like I say, its the overhyping that gets me.
