| How can they appeal against there own appeal?
They need to face facts now I'm afraid.

| They're exploring the legal options, which I presume would mean either the Court of Arbitration for Sport, or the High Court to challenge the legality of the decision.

| Because wasting money on ill-advised court cases has in no way helped get them in this situation in the first place.

| Haven't the Bulls wasted enough vital funds already?
time to face reality, bit the bullet and attempt to win as many games as possible on the field.

| Wakefield will probably get the result against London.
So Bulls-Salford vital. If Bulls can get the result would put bulls only 5 points behind salford, with salford slipping to 12th. So really drags them into a dogfight. Which isn't pleasing at all..........
Time to mention again Phil Clarke tipping Salford this year to win the LLS. Massive LOL.

Did Phil Clarke ever say LLS? I was under the impression it was the GF. Still stupid, granted, but they are still in the mix at the moment. Kevin Locke will make a massive difference to that side, any side, he is that good a player. Not that I think they will win the comp like, just nowhere near relegation come the end.

Pretty sure it was LLS. I think I posted his list in the predictions thread at the season's start, such was my incredulity.

If they did, they would need to go to C.A.S Taking Legal action against the RFL through the normal court system sees your RFL membership and as such ability to compete in RFL competitions suspended.
I think we are seeing the long slow death of RL in Bradford unfortunately. Odsal is far too big and far too expensive to bother playing in front of championship sized crowds, and unless you are Uncle Moneybags, then you certainly cant start trying to run an SL level academy, marketing or infrastructure as well as Odsal, and that before putting a team on the field. Odsal is too big and too useful a site to sit empty whilst the bulls recover. Its going as an RL venue.
Valley Parade is the only other option, but its still far too big for championship RL and would need a very very generous tenancy agreement.
Their squad is also one that is set up for SL, thats not to say it is an SL level squad, its clearly not, they are rubbish, but it is set up to be one, so will have some players on pretty good wages which are just unworkable on championship income and even their lesser players will be on better wages than championship players and it will take them a couple of seasons to rebalance the squad.
Marc Green has never pretended to be a saviour or fan desperate to get the Bulls back where they belong, he is a hard-nosed businessman who made the best decision for his investment. 1 or 2 or 3 years in the lower leagues on lower league income, with lower league crowds, lower league sponsorship etc and the associated losses there and i can't see him sticking around.

| Yep.
It's difficult to see, in the current set up, how the bulls can really exist outside super league, obviously they are struggling to exist in it. But with the drop in income from all avenues by going into the championship, that's going to hit them hard and they are already struggling.

| They will receive a parachute payment if I’m not mistaken; I expect the dulls to do a Castleford and “bounce back” on the first attempt since they will have an unfair advantage over their rivals. But I do hope I’m very wrong.

| Now the Bulls are taking the RFL to the High Court. This could be interesting.
Has to be resolved quickly as not much of the season left

| What next? If this latest appeal fails will we see them on Judge Judy?
For god's sake if they (the Bulls not any group of owners or directors) don't pay back the creditors why should they get any points back?
I assume that the appeal committee could only judge if the RFL rules had been applied correctly, and that the High Court can only rule on the legality of the rules and their application, and certainly not take a moral stance.

| Going to bring the game into disrepute for their own self interests. Even if they win an appeal they are still going down now. Why not just move on, protect the credibility of the sport, and take your punishment.
Any sympathy anyone had for the bulls will soon be lost.

| All the clubs in Superleague who still have to visit the Odsal dump this season, should IMO encourage their own supporters to boycott Odsal in protest. That will hit them in the pocket and hopefully send into admin again and hopefully this time out of business.

| Some absolute tosh has been said on these boards regarding the situation at Odsal . None of you would like to be in the situation that the Bulls fans are in . You most certainly wouldn't want to be subjected to the gloating from fans of other teams in such bad times .
I am not a fan of the Bulls . It makes me smile when they get hammered every week . BUT I could never say I hate them as a club or their fans .
I have a lot of sympathy for the supporters . I even put in a lot of effort to help out when they were desperate to raise funds to keep them going , and I find it disgusting that people can be so cruel to fellow RL supporters .
Show some class and stop the gloating . I wish them luck wherever they end up playing next season (unless they are playing the Falcons )
Rant over

Rant over'" Cheers. Speaking as a Bulls fan I dare say we as a collective are completely sick and tired by whats gone on - obviously not as much as feeldeadrhino above, who could be, the precious lil treasure - and I see nowt but ChampionSuperLeagueship2 rugby ahead. But, and I may be in the minority, to me going to the rugby is still just a past time on a weekend, I at least like to think the people at the club are through the worst and can move on as a business in CSL2. As for the appeal, Christ knows what it's actually based on, I wish someone would officially tell us. But I think I'm in the camp that it's a last ditch appeasement and will be dropped later when the points are irrelevant, however it may at least give some truth to the debaclefarce. Still, any publicity is good publicity, right?

| Umm, no.
If the majority of your fan base is sick and tired of this legal merry-go-round why not, y'know, let the board know it's time to drop the act?
All the money, time and effort pished up the wall instead of sorting the glaring errors within the organisation on and off the field has been the Achilles heel for too long and has been a major contribution to some of the abject performances you have turned in this season.
Tbh, I always thought that you guys were too strong to go down this year with the squad you had and with a bit of luck and hard work you would pull through. But all this crap off the field is were the focus has been instead of on it and that's the real tragedy.

| Whilst I agree it is becoming tedious to hear about, to be fair IF you were in their position would you
A, exhaust every last avenue to try get the 6 points back as that is their only real shot at survival
Or
B, say no and drop it because you're worried you'll be annoying fans of other SL clubs if you carry on.
Think it'd be the former wouldn't it if people are honest.

I can honestly say B. If it was start of season, or even Easter and only six points behind, I can't deny A would probably come to mind. But at this stage of season, the number of points behind, it smacks entirely of sour grapes and a revenge mission against the rulers of the game, rather than the good of Bradford Bulls. But they have no chance of staying up regardless.
I think Ex-Swarcliffe got it right when he implied that the bulls are in the position they are because of this focus on regaining points, rather than earning them on the field. The club even assured the players they would get the points back. How does that get the players focused on what they need to?
They are doing nothing but damaging the spirit of the game if they continue with this circus, and trying to delay things so we probably end up postponing the changes for next season to the year after.
