Saints copped their fare share this year as well its the inconsistency that is ridiculous. To be honest where there is a bit of leeway I am all for erring on the side of benefit of the doubt and nobody missing a grand final. If Knowles gets off though I will be astounded!

Knowles is blatant foul play. There was no need to do what he did. His should be a ban. The rest common sense should be applied even if for most of the season it hasn’t been.

Tend to agree. I'm a big fan of Knowles, but that was really dangerous play - far more so than Bateman's red last night - and it should be punished. As for the rest don't really see any bans, but then again some ridiculous stuff has been handed out this season.

Head contact seems to come from his head jolting forwards from the force of the tackle, secondary contact but either way on this year's rulings thats welsbys job to ensure that doesn't happen. That said he won't get a ban as its GF week.
