Agreed a quick start is vital, if we start with some high energy in attack and defence then the crowd can get into it, but if we start slow I see a dull atmosphere after last weeks result.

But I suppose if we put Galloway, Ferres, Ward etc back in our bench would look OK.

At the minute though it does look pretty weak. The only one who is really holding his own is Ormondroyd.

One thing he needs to avoid doing is changing the halves around mid game. For a team so badly lacking structure and direction this is doing the team no good at all. McGuire and Lilley for me with Burrow interchange 9, Sutcliffe at 13.

Also I understand that he wanted to drop Briscoe last week due to underperforming but with so many seniors out this plan should have been shelved.

And doing it away to the most potent team in the league too giving Handley his first start too seems like madness in hindsight, not that it would have changed the scoreline a great deal mind.

I wouldn't worry about impact from the bench - the starting pack looks very ordinary as well. As do the halfbacks.

Seems a stupid question wether we want a win or not, however I was talking to a friend who said he hopes we get slapped about again tonight in the hope GH and his crew start to take notice of our situation. And I can kind of see his point.

Still think I would prefer the 2 points, however a 50 point plus home loss could be the catalyst for change?
