If & it's a big IF Burrow replicates his role/performance v HKR then we'll at least have a 7 who directs the team better.

Weren't saints fans apoplectic about a structure that saw 3, 4 or 5 drives followed by a Wilkin kick last year? I'm sure I remember Cunningham getting stick over too much structure and not enough off the cuff at some point.

Spot on, in fact it became a rarity for them to reach the 5th tackle as they'd usually already booted it away on the 4th and sometimes even the 3rd.

At least they got a kick away!!

Sky want Thursday night games on between 7-10pm so potentially could see kick off time change from 8pm to 7:30pm.

Given most referees usual inability to award any try without going to the VR (and VR's needing 8-10 views for the most obvious decisions) I'd say it's a gimme that they'd have to move kickoffs forward.

given last years shambles yes. however v HKR they got the kick away, I think, everytime, with the minimum of fuss. if in doubt they went back to golding who had dropped back

Hull KR are not the best at pressuring kickers though, just ask Gareth O'Brian...

Whilst it is nice to see Burrow and Golding put in surprisingly good performances, we will not really know how good they are until they play a team with a bit more quality.

Keinhorst over Delaney imo he's much more mobile & BD looks like he's 2/3wks behind in terms of fitness either that or his body has just packed in.

doesn't matter who it was against goldings handling, positioning, organisation and kick return was quality.
and it was hardly surprising given their qualities. doing it consistently is what they need to do

With our pre-season games wrapped up for the 1st Team & just week of training camp to come how do fans think we'll line up v ST's?

Keinhorst has done just as well in the BR as he has at Centre imo & he certainly outworks Delaney.

I would be happy if we met in the middle and started kicking off at 7:45

Pretty much all his game time in the past 12 months has been at centre in the absence of Moon.

According to an article I read a couple of months ago, a 7.45 kick off would also mean that Friday's games finished just in time for reports to appear in the national press on Saturdays.

It would also mean, for pretty much every away game, that those travelling by coach would make it back to Leeds in time for last buses and trains.

I'm looking forward to this season. Will be interesting to see how Sutcliffe goes. If he and McGuire can get their partnership going again think we may surprise a few.

Hopefully McGuire stays fit long enough for them to spark a partnership.

I'm looking at buying tickets but there are standing and seating tickets. Last season when I went I don't recall seeing any standing sections?
