have to agree with you here, nationality of the ref is of little relevance in my opinion. Only on the international stage do i believe we need/have to have a neutral in charge.

If it was going to be an English ref it should've been Thaler. He was deemed the best ref last year by being awarded both finals so when you have the two GF winners facing off its only logical to pick your best ref.

Neutral referees at international level ain't going to happen when the only two powerbrokers in the game (Australia and ourselves) insist upon the appointment of their very own referees. The regular parochial spats during every international series between the two on this issue is tedious and embarrassing beyond belief.

Went to Salford yesterday to watch the Cowboys training!! They are a big set of players!!!! I know they are only training and were doing soft tackling against Salford, but some of the shapes and moves they were putting out were spectacular!! They look very quick, and sharp despite their lack of games!! Leeds need to concentrate on shutting down Thurston, as he was running the line very very quickly, and getting the ball out to the wings with ease!! Like I say, only a training run, but they look sharp!!!

As poor as Saints have been I'd have loved us to have signed Walmsley when he was available. Considering he was a Leeds fan growing up then hopefully he ends up at Headingley one day.

Without Walmsley and Roby that Saints side looks like a bottom half SL team throughout.Yes, i like the look of a few of the young lads like Greenwood and Savellio but the rest are average for mine.The side has been regressing badly since 2011, the fluky 2014 GF win glossed over it a bit but if i was a saints fan right now i'd be seriously concerned.

In the forwards Greg Richards and Luke Thompson simply aren't top 4 material IMO as much as they play weekly for Saints.

And as good as Kyle Amor was in the first half of 2014 and all the commotion about us not keeping him....in the last year or so would you have him based on his showings?
