that's all I did and we all can see the reactions it gets! the comment I through in last night only inflamed things and was daft and naughty. But what some can't see is all I offered is how racism works in the real world. which is very different to a text book or EU guide lines.

I am glad that you have acknowledged that the comment was ill judged. To me, the term Nazi is nearly as offensive as directly racist language. There are people I know who witnessed what the Nazis were capable of first hand, to use the term so readily lessens the sheer horror of what these people brought upon fellow humans.

I agree with your stance against racism, I agree that it is more probable that the majority always have the greater propencity to oppress but, I disagree entirely that is always the case. If you don't believe me, get some good history books and read more than the synopsis.

thats right! understanding reality is massive when trying to offer the best services with a lack of funds. the people who know and understand a community advise on how best to get the best services. that's who you give good services with people who really understand the area they work in! Roundhay road is lucky, it has a lot of workers who come from the area. If you didn't come from the area you were made in a massive way to understand the hardship of the people you provide services for!

Thats weird, all i've seen is sgtwilko accuse someone of being wrong when they weren't, fail to accept he was wrong when he were called on it, yet at the same time, fail to give any evidence to support his poistion. I have used reasoned logic, and have backed up my points with evidence and have provided links, sgtwilko has dodged all my questions and reorted to insults. He didnt just explain the definition of racism used at his workplace, he was specifically telling others they were wrong for using a different definition, to the one he had being taught at his workplace. Its not very hard to see this massive difference in the two - I explained this in my last post.

No, you didnt just explain about how racism works in the real world You simply defined racism differently, to another poster, and told him he was wrong because he used a definition which didnt agree with your definition.

I notice that again, you have failed to answer any of my questions, or directly dispute any of the poits i've made. You dont seem to want to take my points on board, or dont seem to understand them so i'll make it simple:

You asserted that, the statement 'Anyone can be racist, it doesnt matter whether they are a part of an ethnic minority or not' is incorrect.
You have supported it by the 'fact' that: racism is oppression, and you cant oppress if you are part of the 'enpowered majority'.
This supporting evidence is based entirely on your definition of the term racism.
Can you not see how this is circular reasoning?
Your whole argument can be condensed down to: 'your statement about the definition of racism is wrong, because mine is right' (because as i've said, your supporting evidence holds, if and only if your premise (that your definition of racism is the only correct one) is true)
And as i've shown, your definition isn't supported by any of the dictionaries i've bothered to check, isnt supported by the UN or the European Parliament, and isnt supported by the majority of the public.
Im sorry but you have categorically, been proved wrong.

(The above point, in bold, is the crux of the whole argument, you cannot decide not to respond to it, without concedeing that you are wrong)
