The way we are scraping wins lately and that has not been as often as we would have liked.
I doubt we will be beating many teams this year with a plus 40 scoreline .
We thought we would have beat Salford, Quins and Bulls but look what happened.
Still think we will win though by 20

Even if you played the game with no centres of wingers, we would still play 5 drives down the middle finished off by an absymal kick from Thorman.

Ours is the aimless crossfield kick by McGuire - occasionally we get flukey penalties from it and it gets hailed as a work of genius.

In fairness to McGuire, the last kick wasn't completely without some merit although I've already stated it was the wrong play in the circumstance.

I stated that too. Quite loudly and using industrial language, almost as soon as it left his boot.

Of course, even I am wrong occasionally............

The merit I've recognised (in hindsight) is that the fullback (Ford) was involved in the previous tackle on Hall and McGuire saw the space at the back (with Ford out of the picture) and JJB shaping up to chase. It was only Sherwin noticing the same space that prevented the kick being quite a clever option.

Still the wrong play for me though.

I'm still not convinced that had McGuire taken contact where he got the ball, that we'd have had enough time to setup for a drop goal
