| Tonight is the perfect chance for Hauraki to improve and Ali to get game-time under his belt as G1 says but.....that's all fine and well as long as Pitts is straight back in next week imo.

If he continues to make missed tackles tonight then I have a feeling we won't see him for a while. Clarkson back, Ali back, BJB and Waktkins won't be long which will free up Delaney (If McDermott see's him as a back rower). He has just got to take this chance...

Ali has played for the club for 7 years, he does not need to 'prove himself'. If he is fit then if the coach feels he fits in with the team plans he should play.
It's not his fault he has had such awful luck with injuries.

He has been contracted to the club for 7 years but unfortunately due to injuries has only played 6 games....
Of course he doesn't have to prove himself over his playing ability...just his ability to complete a full match without leaving the lads in the sh*t. He needs to play in the 20s for a few weeks to see if he still has a rugby career.

Are you forgetting the first 5 quality years he put in for us? The best overseas play in the modern era Leeds have signed IMO.

I wasn't meant to be taken literally! I said on a thread a few week ago that he can keep Clarkson/Ablett out of the squad IF he gets himself sorted. I cannot get to the game tonight but it sounds like he is rolling back the years and has lost a few pounds. Hopefully he can stay fit for a reasonable amount of time!

What has his previous form got to do with him staying fit? Nobody is doubting if he is good enough. He is up there with the best overseas signings. But that is irrelevant if he keeps pulling up during games.

| Anyway, according to Big Eorl, we dont "wrestle enough" and thats why we find ourselves on the back foot quite a bit. Fair point though. Compared to the top teams anyway.
Oh and did you hear his great expert analysis earlier?
"That was a bit of poo defending on the inside by Leeds."
Pretty good technical analysis if you ask me

He is probs right, but I'd hate to Leeds get involved in all the wrestling. Lets win games by winning the collision so we don't get wrestle.
I thought at the time "did he really say poo" haha just this second he says "poo decision" I think that is his highly enforced substitute of s**t.

Didn't sound good at all did it. Its all we need is another threequater injury too. If Webbs dead leg doesn't settle down we could be in trouble against Wire. Wire as in an outstanding team at attacking out wide

Aye and Warrington have just beaten Swinton 112 – 0. However I’m still convinced that Warrington Wolves are a one man team. There are class players across the park at Warrenton, but it all comes down to Lee Briars in the end.

After six weeks of utter dross masquerading as [i'Leeds Doing Well'[/i, I'm actually looking forward to next week against Warrington.
Genuine competition at last from a bona fide contender!
Sick of the sight of garbage like Crusaders, Bradford, Cas, Catalan and Quins.
A genuine test and an indicator of Leeds prospects next week, which, IMHO remain slim.

Clearly don't watch Warrington often then, a lot comes through Monas at dummy half now with Briers and Hodson linking up.

First of all, congratulations on your team getting through to the challenge cup and out-doing Leeds in the points department against Swinton. Admittedly I don’t watch Warrington much. However you’ve just included Lee Briars amongst two other very good players in your team.
I’ve already said that Warrington Wolves have class across the field and Monohan is one of them. But after watching Lee Briars performance against Leeds in last year’s challenge cup coupled with other man of the match performances in the cup runs, I still think that you’d struggle without him and that’s why I see you as a one man team.
I could fall flat on my here, but haven’t Warrington lost games when Lee Briars hasn’t been in the side this year?
Anyhow you certainly should have done better in last year’s play-off’s and I’m afraid Lee didn’t pull it off!

As Lee Briars doesn't play for Warrington you're on pretty safe ground.
However Warrington have lost 4 games this season and Lee Briers (no relation) played in 3 of those defeats - Huddersfield (Cardiff), Les Catalans and Hull.
The fourth loss was at the Galpharm V Huddersfield where Briers didn't play but there again he didn't play V Crusaders in Round 10 and Warrington stuffed them.
_________
One for the statos
The aggregate of Warrington's last three matches:
Warrington 254 - Opposition 0

| Well there’s my claim down the drain then!
But I do only think that Warrington are only unstoppable when Lee Briers is on top form. If he isn’t playing well then I don’t think that Warrington stand a chance amongst the title contenders.
