Nice to see Burrow seal the game with a try on Friday that no other player on the pitch could'ce come up with. This a few weeks after the Hull game which he missed, leading to some on here calling for us to get rid.....

What, you mean you wouldn't be confident of success in 2011 with a two hooker rotation of the as yet unproven McShane and an as yet unsigned other?
Diskin and McShane seemed to dovetail well at the beginning of the season with Buderus injured, no reason they shouldn't be able to do the same when he's gone.

Unless Diskiin is unhappy and wants out I fail to see why Buderus' good form spells the end of Diskins' Leeds career. What did fans expect, that Buderus wouldn't play this well?

No reason at all.
The question remains what do Leeds do with Diskin in the mean time and will Diskin be happy to go along with his new role at the club?

Why is only you asking showing common sense and asking the right question? whilst others tend to just post nonsense to have a go at posters without foundation?
Could the self rightesous ones please tell us where we should be playing Diskin for this season and next? and why he should be playing that role? rather than just posting silly assumptions.

I would hope the club would keep him anyway, he's still a quality hooker, just not in the same league as Buderus who would still be playing origin if he was in Aus.

So tvoc is talking gibberish now?
He simply asked, what role is Diskin going to be playing over the next two seasons, considering Buderus is a proven 80 minute player, and as shown in last two games is what he is best at.

The majority of Leeds fans will have expected the world class Buderus to prove a fantastic signing for the club. Likewise the coaching staff and the CEO.
That said what was the coaching staff and management's reasoning for making the signing? To play two hookers ala Cunningham and Roby, so why did they sign a NRL eighty minute specialist ? Did they think Diskin would add impact from the bench? If so it hasn't quite worked out that way.

I'd imagine the same role he's been fulfilling all season. Part of the 17 and playing the hooking role to the high standard he always has done when he's required.
A step down from one of the best hookers the game has ever seen? Yes but so would anybody be.

If Buderus is capable of performing at the required level for eighty minutes why take a step down at all?
Why not use that bench spot to add some impact.

Of course, he's not as good as Budreus (who is) which is noticeable but he's fine nonetheless.
Its' a longer season here than down under and Buderus is not getting any younger. I don't for one minute they signed him to have him as an 80 minute player.

Ok, so been fair here. Do you honestly believe that our performances have not been better with Buderus playing the hooking role for the full 80 minutes, which he is proven at? And If you think they have been better, which they have, what is the role for Diskin?

Aren't you the same person that bemoans a lack of quality and depth within the squad yet in the one position where we have 2 international standard hookers you're not happy about it?
Go figure.

You have answered it, but not extensively.
Please correct me if I am wrong, but appears you are saying that Diskin should be in the 17 because Buderus might not be able to do 80 minutes every week.
Is that really a good enough reason to have a player take up a bench spot that is only useful for one position?

| I know leeds have two free weekends before the play offs, but after the weekend they are on the way to consolodating 2nd spot, maybe use diskin in a rotation once or twice, keep buderus fresh.

I'm getting a little fed up of repeating this but there is a £50,000 cap per club on the 10 year 50% exemption rule.
Leeds will already have got their full value from Sinfield and Senior so at this point non of Diskin's salary will be exempted.
