ive heard plenty of anti semetic comments when Cas play Leeds,look whenever ive gone to Cas ive known what to expect ,the usual hatred of the city of Leeds,as I said anti semetic comments etc,but when T lads come into the city for nights out and shopping its all mates together

Disgraceful and i can only apologise that this happened. I am fed up of a few of our 'fans' are letting the club down. Walking out of the ground last night there was a few Cas 'fans' outside the boot room pub shouting 'eff off Leeds scum' and other vile disgusting insults at a middle aged Leeds couple walking on the other side of the road. Makes me sick.

like I said we have alway's had that anti large city banter,but away from the rugby its not really that bad,but what ive heard lastnight,not nice.

Apparently there have been a group of young lads throwing bricks at buses on wheldon road for quite a few weeks the Arriva drivers (there is a depot on wheldon road) have reported this on numerous occassion but as yet nothing has been done about these idiots. I blame the parents some kids don't respect anything.

As for the window, it was travellers and this has been confirmed by 7 people, and as already said, they've been reported by Arriva numerous times over the last few weeks.

So let me get this right, seven independent witnesses have confirmed that the alleged assailant belongs to a nearby travelling community.

This is also not the first time that members of this community have participated in criminal damage/attempted ABH by attacking passing passenger vehicle and has been going on for some time.

Castleford Police have done nothing to protect its own residents against these continued attacks?

It is hard to imagine a more bitter band of supporters who seem to spend more time looking round the stand for Leeds fans to berate than they do watching their team. Within minutes of the game starting the usual cries of 'forud' could be heard, followed shortly afterwards by accusations of buying refs etc etc. We're all blinkered and biased, it's what we do as supporters, but goodness me, they get excited at Cas. They should have paramedics down by that fence.

There's a lot more independent witnesses who have come forwards saying it was this group of kids who've been causing Arriva problems. As said over on the Cas board, I'm sure they wouldn't mind including this website in the legal action with some of the comments made on here.

Far too many people STILL blaming Cas even though there's more people who saw it saying it was a group of kids than Burgess ASSUMING it was a Cas fan, hence Cas as a club threatening legal action against him & the Rhinos as he is an employee of them.

7 eye-witnesses have publicly come forwards + others in private which has lead to Cas deeming the comments by Burgess to be slanderous. So a retraction will have to be made by either him and/or the club.

He's been told that it wasn't Cas fans yet he still hasn't deleted the original Tweet or issued an apology, same goes to people on here, despite the witnesses people are still blindly and with nothing other than petty bias, still blaming Cas.

Correct, the Arriva complaints have come from drivers to the actual company, which I can only assume have been forwarded onto police, if not I don't know why you'd have to ask Arriva.

The issue last night however, did get reported to police.

As for police in Cas, you're having a laugh right? the station closes at something stupid like 4pm and you NEVER see them walking around the town.
