i know they have won a few trophies but lets face it, it's not exatly confrence premier is it? let's put it into perspective a bit. i'm glad he's back in the game, iv'e said before he was a hero of mine as a kid and to many others who post on here but they won't admit it. they prefer to have a go for his comments.

At the risk of opening up this can of worms again, I have very separate views on his playing and post-playing careers. As a player you can certainly include me among those for whom he was a hero in my youth. That view remains unchanged. However, in my personal opinion, which I'm sure will be of little consequence to Mr Schofield, is that he has let himself down quite badly since he stopped playing with his bitter rent-a-gobbing. I trust it has made him enough money because it has cost him a lot of respect. This does not diminsh in any way what I thought of him as a player, and if he can get his head right, lose the apparent chip on his shoulder and bring the benefit of his considerable talent and experience into the game somewhere, that would, I agree, be a good thing.

You couldn't get a more well respected player than Radlinski for that role. He is someone I have never heard ant player , ex-player, supporter or administrator have a bad word for.

Assuming you mean Andy here, it could be tricky given his current employment at the minute. I'd really like to see Farrell back in league though, preferably as Wigan's coach. That would massively help them, IMO.

Yeah I did mean Andy, hasn't he recently announced his retirement?
Personally I dont think there are 2 more inspiring players from the modern era than Farrell and Sculthorpe and having those 2 involved in some way in the England/GB set-up must be a good thing in my opinion.

Playing retirement yes but I think he's staying on in Union coaching at the present time. I could be wrong though.

You mean a weakened Hunslet Warriors team backing up after a tough physical contest against Queens which they won 23-22 only 5 days earlier, The Warriors only took the game because Miggy announced it in the papers before the Warriors even confirmed they wanted to play it...
