We have a bit of an advantage there to be honest in terms of resting players (we also have Salford away the week before the Bradford one). Warrington vs Cas the week between the semis and final obviously stands out.

I don't think either sponsor will have the power to veto the venue choice, whether the RFL choose not use Huddersfield or Huddersfield turn down the booking based on longer term sponsor relations, is their call but I very much doubt either would. Both sponsors entered their separate sponsorship arrangements for their own reasons and I actually don't think either will care that much TBH.

I'd rather attempt to take Warrington out in the semi's than in a potential final, judging recent pastings.

Seems fair enough to me. Leeds have had a good run of cross-Pennine semis at Huddersfield.

And in a lot of those they have been the only Yorkshire side in the semis. So needs to be put into perspective.

I fail to see what difference that makes to be honest. Yorkshire doesn't get given a semi each year as part of some quota system.

You made a point of saying Leeds had a good run of semis in Yorkshire against lancs side. I pointed out the reason for that.

If you have two semis and only one side is from Yorkshire, it makes sense for that tie to be in Yorkshire. I bet the Cas v Widnes match is in Yorkshire?

With the yet TBD football fixtures meaning a possible clash at a few stadiums the only real yorkshire ground left for a Leeds/Wire game would've been Odsal.....no to that thanks, even if it is closer.
