I'd give Fielden a chance at Leeds. OK he isnt what he was but he could do a job. However i'd use him like we did Connelley etc and use his experience to bring the youngsters on with Peacock. Who knows he could be cracking for the squad.

I cant see anyone in the NRL paying a transfer fee for eastwood with the Cap being so tight down there so we will be looking at a swap deal with an NRL club given Eastwoods stated desire to return to Oz assuming we want to try and squeeze some value out of his remaining contract. I cant see eastwood buying himself out and given his homesickness he wont be going to another SL club regardless of whether anyone has £100k to spend on a transfer

That`s my view too. Fielden should not be compared to Eastwood anyway. I think we need another prop and Fielden would do the job well and help JP. We have enough second rowers to fill in but few props that can do the hard yards.

hes played for the kangaroos against us so im sure hes been held down in those games i think he would be good in super league but you could end up with the same problem as eastwood he might want to go home 3 games into the season so your probably better with an established SL player
