| True enough. He looked like he enjoyed last night as well.
First time he's coached Leeds to a win in those conditions as well.

| After today's promising news with regards Kevin Sinfield's potential injury.
His next SL Regular Round start will be his 250th. He is therefore set to become only the second Leeds player to reach the mark after Keith Senior (256).
Jamie Peacock's next SL Regular Round appearance will be his 100th for the club. He will become the 23rd player to do this for Leeds, the last being Gareth Ellis who incidentally reached the mark on the final Regular Round game of last season.
__________
The current top 10 SL Era Appearance chart contains seven of the present 1st team squad.
1 - Kevin Sinfield - 331
2 - Keith Senior - 312
=3 - Francis Cummins - 268
=3 - Barrie McDermott - 268
5 - Rob Burrow - 266
6 - Matt Diskin - 233
7 - Danny McGuire - 213
=8 - Ryan Bailey - 190
=8 - Jamie Jones-Buchanan - 190
10 - Chev Walker - 183
If experience and familiarity counts for anything Leeds should be reasonably competitive around this period.

It was Daryl Powell that gave Ryan Bailey his debut (28th June 2002) as an 18 year old. He became the 91st player to play for Leeds in the SL Era.
Therefore it's three Leeds coaches.

Leeds were pretty rubbish at it for quite a long time weren't they. It helps to remember the record, never take the W's for granted.

| tvoc, you are a Leeds stats God!
As tad said, it would be good to add most GF wins!
Also, while we might have the most loses that is because we have been in the play off's every year and you have course got to be in it to win it!

Bradford 3
Leeds 3

Bearing in mind these records were set over the first eleven seasons of the Play Offs, so were Bradford and St Helens so it didn't automatically follow that it would be the only other everpresent.
Now that Bradford have missed out is SL down to a big two?

I figured that it would be around their 99&01 wins, but had forgotten how the play-offs worked back then

| Kevin Sinfield needs four two point goals to become (I presume) only the second player in Leeds' history to register 1,000 place kicked goals.
The first was B L (Lewis) Jones who amassed 1,244 goals, although that figure will include an unknown number of drop goals but as they were also worth two points in his era they were not seperated out as they are today.
Sinfield already has 1,016 goals to his credit but that figure includes twenty drop goals also.

It was wasn't it.
That'll teach me using[url=http://www.rugby-league-world.com/2007/SuperLeague/PO6.htmlthese fella's[/url Leeds GF records rather than my own. Sinfield has kicked five Play Off Drop Goals but never any in the Grand Final.
I'll have to trust their other GF details are on the money as I only worry about the Leeds GFs usually.
The interesting stat to come out of yesterday's exercise was that no coach has successfully defended the title.
No pressure on Brian McClennan then.
