I think you might be on to something with this one.

Hurrell would probably go well in SL. He's not a great winger's centre which is why he hasn't gone to the next level, but he runs the ball incredibly hard, albeit not caring much about angles etc. He'd certainly be entertaining.

Well entertainment has been in short supply for a while, I think he’d be a good signing and would cover some of the work we’ll be missing without Hall.

Lemme tell ya - Hurrell is not a marquee signing + if we have made him our marquee then that is some truly poor decision making.

Agree with this. He's struggled to get a game at the Gold Coast this year. Would be a decent signing, and will provide some excitement, but he has a bit of the Anthony Gellings about him - something awesome 1 minute (usually a barnstorming trampling of poor defenders, or a monster defensive hit) and something dumb the next (ridiculous offload or basic dropped ball at the ptb). Concentration can be an issue, as can his weight - for that reason, he's not got many options in the NRL. And even the best centres in the NRL are among the lower paid squad members nowadays. Only the very best are earning over $500k, so I'd doubt Hurrell will command a huge salary, particularly with exchange rate and cost of living taken into account. He'll be on decent money, but not marquee.
