I'd like to get away from these stupid iron on patches we have on the front last few seasons my shirts have just been peeling away it's stupid I have shirts from years ago still goin strong but the last few seasons look completely naff now

Completely agree with this! Both my home and away top from last season got ruined by the stupid patches, my current home top patch is completely creased and looks ridiculous - my away top is okay *just* but I don't wear that due to it being signed by the players!

As for the away shirt, there's always that handsome young chap in the corner of the season ticket brochure modelling what a proper Leeds white away shirt should look like.

I know I'll open the debate about number of shirts, but I thought the club had a policy of rotating home and away shirts each season. You might as well stick a huge sell by date on every shirt sold over the counter, as that effectively what you're buying.

On the other hand stick around until this time of year and pick it up at a fraction of what it would have cost you six months ago.

This season we've brought out FOUR new shirts ... New Home, New Away, A Charity Shirt and Testimonial Jersey. Doesn't anyone else think this is excessive ?

Thankfully, I've got classic home and classic away shirts now ... Which will never go out of fashion. Everyone knows which team I support and I am not going to get caught with the slavish purchase of an assortment of new shirts every season.

I only buy the shirts/training shirts if I like them. I have plenty of retro options to wear to the game otherwise as well as numerous NRL options. Won't be forced to pay £40+ a year for a shirt I don't like.

Home similar to this season, yellow band in middle, thinner yellow banding at the top and the bottom, different shades of blue and yellow.

The away one different. Kinda same style but the main body of shirt is the dark pink, where the blue is, it's all a solid pink.

Good old uncle gawwy, thinking of keeping money in my wallet again next season if thats the case.

given 2008 was the last time we had something approaching a traditional kit, I think the home strip will return to that sort of style-Royal Blue, Amber uneven bars, white shorts.

Last few years away kits have been novelty items, and the novelty of the pink is wearing off. Think we'll see this year's charity kit rejigged and put out-expect lime green and grey away shirt next year.

If the home kit could return to being something like the actual club colours that would be a start.

In my eyes, it's only excessive if it doesn't generate enough income for the club to justify the effort of producing them. If enough people would fork out for them, I'd be happy with a new shirt every week. Never give a sucker an even break.

I, like yourself, collect Leeds shirts - it's what we do.

I have many shirts that I've not even worn (or would even fit me) - like the Admiral, my '68 replica shirts are still in their presentation boxes.

I hope it's not pink AGAIN. I thought the 2011 was great, helped in part by the fact it was something different but then they had to get carried away and do pink again in 2012, forgiveable in one sense given the success of the 2011 one, but not helped that it wasn't as good and also lost the unique factor (hence why the only home kit i've bought since the quality 2005 effort is the quite different yet still Leeds feeling 2009 effort), but now it's just lazy if they hammer a 3rd one out on the trott.

I decided to send an email to the club regarding this and received a reply this morning saying it was something they have been made aware of and were extremely sorry I was unhappy with the quality of my shirt and would be happy to replace it

and also next years shirt will not have the heat pressed patch it will be part of the shirt

they're willing to replace it? Might have to get my pink one replaced then

That what the email said they would replace it for the same or if they didn't have the same something else I liked in the shop
