i dont think we would get Burgess, he is the cornerstone of this bradford, and losing him would be pretty much giving up, they would see the fans leave even quicker than they have been and the overall feeling of depression in bradford would be exacerbated

Bradford as an organization have everything invested in Burgess, he is their get out of jail free card, he is bradford right now and they would lose far too much if they lose him

Andy Lynch on the other hand is a quality player, but doesnt have the same pull burgess does

I didnt know that there was so many players out of contract at the end of this season, looking at this, i can see Donald going back to Aus, Smith to stay and move into the number 2 spot, senior may go, Gibson to move to number 3, Watkins to number 4, by the sounds of McClennans appraisals this week, Ablett should sign on, Kirke hopefully will sign on too, dont know about Worrall at this time, as i havent seen much of him this season, hope ill be wrong though.

Fairly standard stuff for this time of year having roughly a third of your first team squad coming off contract. As long as the key positions are wrapped up there's no reason to start a panic just yet.

Aye. Was more impressed with Owen. Would be a perfect replacement for Smith (if he leaves) and the kid has pace as well so maybe an improvement

I really liked the kid when he incurred the wrath of little big man (Ganson) on the half time whistle.

Good shout G1, he's also got that little big of confidence/arrogance that's good to see in a young player.

And he can play full-back too, which according to some on here would be a real weakness if Smith leaves.
