leaving aside the VISA issues if he's punished by the criminal justice system I see no reason why any club giving him gameful employment thereafter would damage the "honour and integrity" of the game.

As a supporter of a club that rightly re-employed Ryan Bailey and Chev Walker when they'd done their time I'd be a hypocrite to think differently.

IIRC neither Walker nor Bailey were subject to any sanction from any governing body that would have prevented them plying their trade elsewhere.
