Yeah think thats the one although someone says there are 2 curry places at Clarence Dock 1 within the casino and 1 out of it so im not sure.

I was in there the other week and the smell was fooking superb!

Went to the Mumtaz on Friday. You walk in and its incredibly ostentatious - huge chandeliers (sp?), statues, fancy decorating and even some honky playing a piano. I didn't think I'd like it.

That siad, while the waiters were a bit too servile the menu looks to be exactly the same as Bradford's and the prices look about the same. The food itself was really good - the chicken methi is recommended. Worth a visit if you want to try somewhere fancy and where its guaranteed there will be no p[ii[/iss heads. Setting is nice too - though you do have to pay for the parking as the only option is the big multi storey.

Do you eat ALL of your meals out of your home ?

it's the noisiest place i have eaten! it's nice to have intelligent conversation,but i suppose if i sit next to you again that won't matter

TBH I didn't even know there was one there. I avoid Headingley if I can - but the one we went to yesterday was owned by the same family as that one near Baskinds chemists in Headingley so that may well be good too.

Seems Thai places are trying to be a bit more homely and less formal and stuffy.

This place is really nice, Yorkshire Evening Post rave about it
