Regardless of the top six, from the Salford game onwards there is a good chance that Sezer & Austin will get a shot at establishling their half back partnership, and Tet & Holroyd will get a shot at paying back fans and teammates for their disciplinary failings. We'll come up against several teams who have decisively got the better of us in the first two thirds of the season. Avenge the losses against Salford, Huddersfield and Catalans and we send out a strong message to existing and lapsed season ticket holders that 2023 will herald the return of the good times.

Yes agree, plenty of opportunities to finish strongly and get some real positive energy for next season. Still waiting for that good prop to come in though…

I would say Salford are our biggest competition at the moment. Hull are in decline and Hull KR haven't been doing too well with Warrington three points behind us. If we can win the next three it would put us in with a good chance.

Salford have Saints, us, Hudds and Catalans the next four weeks.

Hull KR have Wigan, Toulouse, us then Saints.

Think to make the play offs we have to win 5 out of 7 that will put us on 13 wins 13 loses 1 draw, that in it self will take some doing and be an achievement, after the horrible start we had.

With the clearing out of players we either have signing that haven't been announced, or we are still working through some deals. At least 3 of last night's team are moving on

Well I was one of those wrong. At least we're not having the annual debate about whether we should even have play offs and a Grand Final like on TRL.

We clearly need to improve the squad, and with the announced outgoings I expect we'll see a few new names before next season. Maybe not big names but I trust Smith's judgement - all of the outgoing players would have been at the top of my list to move on, and the shakeup in staff has been a long time coming too.
