I actually saw achurch have some decent games attack wise when he was running wider but he was often used as a battering ram and despite his size never seemed to like that. Just didn't seem to want to get his hands dirty.

If you asked the rugby gods to make you a 2nd rower they'd probably look like Mitch Achurch. Sadly, be didn't have the toughness required to be the top player he should have been.

Sam Walters is pretty much a direct comparison body wise to Achurch but I've got very high hopes that Sam will fullfill his undoubted potential and become the best Back Rower in SL in the near future

Tonie Carroll shouldn't be on this list. Also whilst Toopi was beyond useless in attack and always offloading to anywhere, he was fckn brilliant in defense.

Gallagher was taking his time to settle in to league after his converting from union but was showing some true class on attack. True his defense was a lot slower at coming up to speed but then he got spear tackled (at Saints iirc) and it finished him as a player. Never the same after that

Maybe it's just my memory but I just cannot remember him for the life of me, having stellar performances at Wigan,or at Halifax subsequently.His records at both clubs seem pretty similar.I recall an audience with Graham Murray (after Stevo was fawning over how he could spray the football all around the park),and Graham just said Stevo was talking bull**** Florimo just had a big handoff in his armoury and that was it.
