So Leeds v Wigan final it is. Many years of hard draws for Leeds, this year we really have had luck with those balls.

Some of us didn't do too bad though at tipping the results or how the draw would go





Almost got drawn in that very order too, tipped Hudds on Friday and got all 6 league games correct last week....should've put the lottery on last night.

Neither of those Semis are straight forward. Hull just did a job on the form team of the season and whilst Wigan will be favourites they'll have to improved on what they showed yesterday.

I'm sure the RFL are looking forward to a repeat of the Wiggin v 'Ull Final.

Hull really struggle against Leeds. I wasn't fussed who we got. The only reason I hope Salford dont get to final is bums on seats. It doesn't look great there anyway.

Leeds was the one team I was hoping we wouldn't get. Not just in the draw today but in all of the previous draws too.

Wouldn't be fussed if Salford made the final. They're having a good season and a final appearance might persuade a few more to go in future and give them the kind of viewing more in keeping with what they deserve. The club seems to be making some decent steps forward these days. And doing so quietly for a change

A lot can happen in 6 weeks. Wouldn't like to predict at this stage.

Well yeh it's a challenge cup final at Wembley on a Saturday afternoon not a Friday night in Doncaster. Such a great comparison.

True and Wigan are the X factor in terms of how much can they improve and get into form before then. All 4 teams sets of fans have a right to be confident of their sides chances to progress.

Hope it's not Donny. Absolutely dreadful amenities around the ground and a pig for train users to get to. It's Yorkshire's version of Salford.

A Bit Harsh, whilst there are only two pubs with in sensible walking of the ground, there are plenty of decent pubs in the town and regular buses between the town and the stadium.

What does Donny hold, 14kish? You would think after almost a 2 year break from big games we would be capable of taking close to at least 10k for this semi, especially if it was at Huddersfield and Hull always take a big following for the big games too. With a good 6 weeks to the semis and on a saturday afternoon you would surely be looking at a 16-20k gate at Huddersfield.

Doesnt work out like tho these days as people wont pay. Id rather play at a full Donny than Hudds with a stand completely shut down side.

At least it doesn't look like they're doing a Friday night semi final as has been the case the last two years (Leeds/Saints @ HJ '15 and Wigan/Hull @ Donny '16)

Cas will still be a big factor come the play offs, if they learn from yesterday that is. I think what many of us suspected, that one off big games are a different animal to run of the mill SL games and Cas won't steam roll there way through a team showed big time. Powell is a good coach though and Cas have steadily improved and learnt over the last few years to get where they are now, so i see no reason not to believe he will find away to adapt his side. but the final hurdle is the hardest to jump, just ask Huddersfield and Warrington fans (GF one at least

) .

Should be a good semi final, hopefully both sides reach it with fully fit teams and we can have a quality spectacle.
