| Sadly it does look like Robbie Ward had his last chance to impress at Hull and didn't do well enough!!!!
hope there is a new plan to cover the continued absence of hooker? Handley back into the threequarters with Keinhorst sharing dummy half/ stand off duties with Sinfield maybe? We have to try getting Sinfield back in position for last tackle kicking duties: we have been pretty abysmal in his absence here.
....or maybe indeed he is going to trust Golding to start at stand off/FB sharing roles with Hardaker?

| You know what, if Sinfield is going to stay at 9 then let's throw Lilley in at 6.
Not many tougher initiations than Catalans away, let's see how he goes. Put him alongside McGuire in the halves and let him go out and play his natural game, rather than trying to make do and mend by shuffling other players around.

| Pretty much what I would go for Frosties but maybe Keinhorst for Delaney who is either carrying a knock or was still hung over.

If we can keep our returning the ball back 3 in place I feel we should; plus an opportunity to see how Handley goes at centre. If it doesn't work then Briscoe and Handley can easily switch OR Keinhorst is on the bench to slot in at centre.
I would also have Keinhorst part of the 17 for the additional possibility of maybe having to replace the inexperienced Lilley (Sinfield to SO/Keinhorst to dummy half)
We def have to find another option to having only one halfback
Delaney rested.
(What is Watkins' injury?)

| There isn't a secret new position for every player, Sometimes they are playing where they are best.
If we needed an emergency half, Ablett is a far better bet than Keinhorst.

I didn't mean Keinhorst direct replacement at SO; rather Sinfield to SO with Keinhorst in at dummy half. It worked once with Clarkson ...and Keinhorst would very probably do at least just as good in that role.
Ablett has played SO...maybe not a bad idea. As I have already stated, we need to try something else for sure. I'm sure the coaching team has considered that and we will indeed see something new in Catalonian France

Watkins injury is just described as an ankle injury and as a 1-2 week thing.
Tbh I don't think it's coincidence that he was "rested" vs Hull the week before Wembley. Could be something that needs to be managed through to the end of the season.

| Handley and Walters to drop out. Keinhorst in centre and Lilley on the bench. Our forwards must get on top with good go forward before Lilley is introduced

| Thankfully, Catalans have nothing much to play for but pride. As Juan says, our forwards have to match up early, if we can do that and not let Cats get early scores i think we will have plenty of chances as the game wears on.Basically, this game can be as tough or as easy as we want to make it.

| Looking at the table this is a must win game for Leeds - Wigan should beat Hull so will be level on points with Leeds.
If Leeds win tomorrow they should finish top - If the Giants beat Warrington then Cas will have nothing to play for next week and Leeds should be too strong and that will be top spot sewn up.
I would not want to be playing the Giants in a non knock out game for top spot.

I think no only will Wigan beat Hull, but they will make a significant dent in that points difference at the moment. So definitely Leeds need to Win the next two games so they can see how the table lies going into that last game.

There is over 100 points difference wouldn't take much to erase that if results go the wrong way. I can't see Saints beating them at the JJB the following week

Yep, it is at Langtree Park. A 50/50 game imo, however we need to keep it in our hands by getting the 2 points tomorrow.

| Points difference is 96 ahead in our favour. I can't see that being overhauled. Even if Wigan have a good week and get it down to about 50 I'd fancy us to beat Cas by just as many if not more than IF they beat Saints away (which is far from a gimme) the following week so I'd reckon it'd still be at least 60 going into the final week.
It's possible for the points difference to be overhauled.....but very very unlikely.

| Only a 6 point win for Wigan tonight (almost threw it away completely) so that's pretty much ruled out the points difference being caught I think.

| Saints must be hoping Wigan play that badly next week. All credit to the Hull team especially the youngsters, when young Abdul gets properly conditioned he looks like he could be a real star of the future. Things look good for Hull next season. One final thought, I wonder if the fingers in the eye on Tom Lineham will get referred, it looked bad in slow motion, not sure whether there was intent though.

I still think Leeds need to win 2 out of the last 3 to claim the peanut dish.We need to grind out the wins.I personally can't see Wigan losing the last 2,poor as they were tonight

Aside from the LLS we could do with at least 2 wins to make sure we're back in form for the (now very short) playoff's
