| I take no delight in the Bulls' issues. I've got some good friends on the pay-roll at Odsal, people who have already given more than can be expected to support the club over the last couple of years, and it is those who I feel for.
This isn't just about people like Omar Khan, the players and the businessmen supposedly behind various consortiums, it is normal people, earning a normal living, trying to pay a normal mortgage.
That said, nobody could deny that the club has been badly managed for some time.
I couldn't help but have a wry smile when, during the "potentially last ever game" match a few years ago, the Bulls team entered a field, in broad daylight, to a flurry of fireworks. It was quite symbolic of the way the club was run.

| There isn't any gloating here that I can see.
I don't see that the RFL had much choice. Bad management has brought the club to this. I hope to see the club in reaponsible and capable hands. I feel for the fans, but even more I feel for everyone who relies on the club for their living.
Shambles all round. I hope it can be sorted out soon. Properly. Not with another load of quick fixes and empty promises.

| Its really bizarre in a way, the saying goes "you reap what you sow" in reality, the people most to blame for this have long since scarpered off, money in hand.

| Quote ="El Diablo"Did anyone else think the statement from the proposed new owners that the penalty made relegation a certainty was a bit pessimistic? Will they finish 6 points ahead of London? Yes. So can they finish 6 points ahead of Wakey or Widnes? I think they can.'"
IMO the proposed new owners have used that as an excuse, do to the fact that they have not got the money needed and never have had it, a bit like Micheal Knighton all those years ago a Man Utd.

I can't see any gloating either. I see the troubles at Odsal as a very sad affair indeed and nothing to gloat about at all.
I wasn't too bothered when the Welsh folly folded and I don't think I'll shed much of a tear when the cockneys finally bite the bullet, but this is Bradford we're talking about here. I remember those 22K crowds at Headingley and the nail biting games that went down to the wire.
I really do hope they find a way out of this mess, just can't see how they can.

Fireworks are not cheap and they could surely have done without, I suppose they may have had them already

| Eagle-Even having them "already" knowing how dire their finances were points to gross mis-management and again proves how ridiculously they were run.
Another thing that stood out that night whilst at the game was the "gratitude" the home crowd showed JP and Mc for putting their medals etc up for auction to raise money .......NOT.

| The more time and shambleses (may have invented a plural there) go y, the more cynical I get about that whole "save the Bulls" exercise.
I can't help thinking that a lot of very honest and committed and well-intentioned, passionate people got stiffed by a group of people who had made an irretrievable ballcocks of running the club.
