Buhrer was even brought onto the bench because sticky didn't think farrah could handle SOO. |

I wasn't on about Robbie Farah (or indeed Paul Gallen's) performance in Origin I.
I was taking issue with your statement that Danny Buderus 'wasn't standing out' at Newcastle. If he had not got injured, he would have been starting in that game. Not something that happens if you are not playing well!! |

I will say it again, for the last time: HOW DID HE EVEN WARRANT SELECTION IF HE WASN'T STANDING OUT?
Don't think many players (outside of Thurston/Smith/Slater for Queensland) would be especially 'missed' at Origin level would they? It's not as if any replacement wouldn't be up to the standard. |

People really need to stop looking to the NRL to solve our problems. The chances of a young quality player wanting to give up on the NRL and move to SL are next to nil. Especially if Leeds insist on sticking to their apparently fairly rigid pay scales.
