I think this is a massive over reaction personally, Ive watched every game that he has played for the first team, and whilst he is a good player he wasn't as good as the players in front of him in our first 13.

In this case it's very much Pitts wanting gametime and apparently a loan deal was refused a couple of weeks ago something wasn't right away at Salford he was down to play for the u20's but didn't and was sat behind the dug out looking well p!$$ed off.

If you cant make an impression on the first team at the age of 22, you probably arent going to tear the competition up. Pitts has had three years and not made any real impression, disappointed he hasnt fulfilled his potential here but I dont think he was ever going to.

Might go to Hull and make a career out of the game, but I doubt he will ever reach international standard.

-Signing one of our ex players that we didn't make an offer to, on a contract that will maybe push them close to cap limit

-Signing one of our young players that didn't make the grade at our small but great club

Interesting they see him as a prop. I thought he was a decent player but a bit lightweight even as a second rower.

Prop was the position Leeds (McClennan) said they wished to see him develope into at the time of his signing at Headingley.

Never happened though. He may prove me wrong but I reckon he's just not quite big or powerful enough to make a really effective prop.
