I bet Billy Bremner was only 3 foot 6 without his LU kit on.
Just out of interst and probably because my memory is failing.
But do or have any SL teams played in stripe shirts as opposed to hoops?

Warrington had a green and white striped change kit, although I think that was pre-SL.

| The video makes it look black and yellow [size=50(black and yellow, black and yellow, black and yellow)[/size and better than the pictures of navy and yellow
did the amber bands ever go round the back, I think it would look better but I won't be getting one so no need to pander to my tastes I guess

St Helens in SuperLeague 1 had a blue and white striped away kit.

| Have we ever had a home kit with an amber v on a blue background & vice versa for the away kit?
Or would that alienate the traditionalists who wish to stick to hoops & a broad band?
I never buy the replica shirts - don't like the collars - but I do buy polo shirts.
I liked last year's home & away polo shirts & I'll more than likely buy the new home one this year.

| I don't know what you lot are all moaning about. That is a proper Leeds shirt and it looks great.
I'm pleased that clubs are going more traditional with their designs this year.

| The vertical stripes are a bit soccer esque for me.
Still would like to see a more white shirt with a bit of blue and amber on it .
What year did we have that at Leeds?

| I think its ok after some the shirts recently I was dreading this one buts I am quite pleased by it.We do keep our strong amber which differentiates us from the anemic, insipid primrose

| Like the colour and style. I did notice in the promo video that the one Rob Burrow was wearing had the Engage Super League logo on it. Any news on the new Super League sponsors yet?

Got to agree, looks nothing like our traditional blue. Is it really that difficult to have a shirt in our traditional colours with a traditional banded design. Just seen Wigans home shirt and it's stunning in its simple and traditional design, i bet theirs flies out of the stores. Ours is slightly better than last years bland "Rugby Union" style shirt, but not that much better for me to hand over any of the folding stuff.

No, you had one in 2010. And in 2008 before that.
Whats wrong with a bit of change every now and then? I think it's a really smart shirt that.

It's a really smart, sharp design, just not for me. I won't get the same buzz when we run out in something that isn't really our club colours. I agree that to create a different kit with traditional design and colours would be a headache for the marketing people but our heritage obviously means more to me than other folks. Maybe i'm just an old fart

Think of it this way... Theres a strong chance you'll get a more traditional shirt next season now.

You may have seen my flag at some games, it's 6ftx6ft in "traditional" colours with the old Leeds crest in the middle, 3owls,sheep and all on it. I appear to be stuck in some kind of timewarp. Is the miners strike over yet?

| People don'y seem to understand that there's only so much the club can do with the kit. If they had the same kit every year, no-one would buy it. If they had a very similar kit every year, much less would buy it. If they alternate between the various traditions (colour, irregular stripes etc) and some stuff a little bit more different, then it keeps people coming back for more.
If we have a 'traditional' shirt every 2 years, then the old one will be worn out by the time the new one comes around.

| I'm told that the official blue colour of Leeds RLFC was that of the blue in the Leeds emblem, but that doesnt mean the shirt has to be exactly that colour every single year
