Quote ="G1"Burrow is doing exactly the same as he was doing last year when he was unjustly criticized. He simply now has better attacking options running off him.
He was instrumental last week, being pivotal in three of the tries and was everywhere last night. Had Tomkins or Eastmond scored the try he scored at Cardiff or done some of the things Rob has been doing these last couple of weeks the whole of RL Fans and Sky would be exploding in a simultaneous orgasm.
Anyway, back OT, Burgess was excellent and, you know what, Kirke had a damn fine game as well.'"
Don't say that last bit too loud!!!
Agree with most of the above. Although it's been done to death I guess the lack of team structure at times under Bluey meant Burrow looked lost. Now we have players running off the ball and better lines all of a sudden he looks more effective. He did attack the line in the first half last night more effectively than I have seen in a long time though.
Our whole front row, were outstanding. Buderus looks sharp and I only hope we don't overuse him at this time of year. Kylie and Biff, for two players who don't usually play long minutes must have done about 60 each, I think Burgess played the last 36 unchanged.
I looked at the line ups and thought our pack would get stuffed and we'd have to play expansively to win - how wrong I was. O Meley apart, our pack was head and shoulders above theres.
