Graham did have an outstanding game. He does the ugly stuff with the ball, often taking 2 or even 3 of the drives in sets as we come away from the try line. His defense was also perfect, I'd settle for that.

It does show though that when Bailey is on the pitch smashing their forwards about they do not know what to do as was adequatly shown on Saturday when he left the pitch and they got on with it and laid the platform they did for their backs.

On that particular occasion the statistics were clearly inaccurate.

Despite holding the SL record for yardage in a season Graham has never been a big metre maker per carry. His game is consistent yardage often.

Graham is class IMHO. He's not a blockbuster and not a massive hitter in defence but week in week out he is leading the side forward, often 2 carries per set, and he never goes backwards.

But the most impressive aspect of Graham's play is his cover defence. This is not something I've noticed just because he pushed a half-ar$ed Rob Burrow to the corner on saturday. When Saints beat us at Headingley in the game where Scruton dropped Cunningham on his bonce, Graham was all over the park. We made a couple of clean breaks and Graham appeared at the back, pushing Wellens out onto the wingman and covering the break maker. He also is probably one of the best ball handling props in the SL.

No doubt I'll get hammered for saying something nice about the FGB but it's just an honest opinion. And no-one enjoys it more than me when his bottom lip starts wobbling and the dummy comes out, by the way.

Look at the stats before the game, then after the game.

Deduct the old figures from the new, and you get the game stats.

I think most sensible people on here can see that Graham is a great player, and one of Saints best players. We just love to take the pi$$ out of him for being a chubby whinging ginger baby
