| Tonight’s game is exactly why I love Rugby League so much – right to the last kick of the game.
One a side note – a bit disappointed at the away support tonight, we were on the Western Terrace with more room than we’ve had in a long while.

| I think the Wolves tired in the second half which may have been due to playing 2 injured players short for the majority of the game, possibly affecting the result.

| Quote ="G1"I will forgive both sides the awful handling as a LOT of rain fell today. The match was scrappy but no more so than last nights Wigan Saints game.
Donald was superb. His break changed the course of the game and it was superb skill to ground the ball for his 1st.
Our failure to stop Monaghan out of dummy half was criminal and the cause of all four Wire tries. Mclennan should have them working on marker defence for the next two weeks.
I notice Mclennan adopted a tactic I mentioned on here last week of using a centre on the bench as an interchange for a 2nd rower by moving Senior into the pack twice. Ratu looked very solid. Fairly impressed.
Hall looks lacking in confidence at the moment. Not sure why. Running into the collision very tentatively (notice those that slate Donald for this have NEVER ONCE slated Hall) and returning his kicks sideways!
A quick mention about Simon Worrall. The lad played very well but that is not why I mention him. I notice Mclennan managed to get him on this week nice and early and avoided leaving himself in the position he was last week of chasing the game late and needing his game-breakers on. However, When Warrington scored their last try and were down by two with a few minutes left Bluey brought him on which makes his comments about last Friday pretty ridiculous.
Thank goodness Sinfield found his kicking boots in the end. What nerves! We look ready for the break and there's still work to be done but everything is looking on course, no need for the negative comments by some on here.'"
Do you think Brian McClennan looks at the message boards for coaching tactics? I think he used the same tactic against Hull KR two weeks ago

He just loves the Rhinos, you only have to see & hear his reaction to opposition knock ons, them going into touch & any mistake they make to know that he's more Leeds than all the home grown players put together.

| The officiating in Super League lately leaves a lot to be desired, So inconsistent i'm not sure who actually knows the correct rules at times Referees, Touch Judges, Video Refs, Fans, Coaches or Commentators everyone seems to have a different opinion as to what is correct, I think a few of the rulings need to be cleared up and simplified in time for the start of next season...

The sooner we adopt the two referee system the better. How can you expect one man to look down the 10 meter line and keep an eye on the play of the ball at the same time? Or just make it the lines mans job to watch if players stray off-side. Surely its within their capabilities to do more than just tell ther referee if the ball has gone in touch.

| I think both (Brent Webb & Ben Harrison No Tries) were ridiculous calls it's almost like they are trying to limit the amonut of contact in the Sport the way some of these calls are going lately, Then there was the Senior "incident" that Phil [i"I Hate Leeds"[/i Clarke reffered to which was nothing but a dummy run that he claimed should have been a penalty!, Even Steve said there was nothing in it, Also i don't know if it was just me but Jamie Peacock looked like he had stepped offside during the Harrison "No Try", IMO There was nothing in the Dummy Run by JJB the defender had more than enough time to make the effort to try to tackle and Rob Burrow just found the gap superbly and once again Stevo didn't agree with the decision......

Yes i think the two referee system could be the better option and like you say at times there is no reason for the Touch Judges to be there as they rarely have the bottle to open there mouths and make decisions...

| we dont need 2 refs, just consistency from the ones weve got, we already have 3 (or 5) officials on the pitch and those off it as well
our defence wasnt great but our squad being so thin doesnt help, going back to JJB at prop

| Much improved discipline & the result in doubt to the last kick of the game, what's not to like about that.
Ok there were mistakes by both sides & the officials but I for one thought bit was a thoroughly entertaining game afetr all the crap weather.
As has been said elsewhere standards may be leveliing down but at least it keeps us on the edge of our seats or tips of our toes.
I thought Ablett played well but Donald shut his doubters up.
Roll on Cas in 2 weeks.
PS I for one hope the Wolves beat Wigan & get to Wembley.

You know, it's well thought out, intelligent, articulate comments like that which give Hull the reputation it quite rightly deserves, and makes it without a doubt the most envied, desireable location this great country has to offer. Dano, I salute you!

| Wow! You've come to the conclusion that he's both a pervert and a retard purely by looking at a post on a message board - you must be supremely intelligent, even by Hull standards!!!!
P.S...... ever heard of the phrase "defamation of character" (might have to drive out of Hull to buy a dictionary if you need to look it up.... ) might be an idea for you to check it out and bear it in mind........

Oh dear,
You've pushed the "Retard" button, what an unfortunate week to do so.
You might find that you can't post anymore of your rubbish for a few days, never mind eh ?
