Slightly OT but... What was the score between Leeds and Doncaster at Headingley that year (1994)?

For some reason I remember it only being 16-6 to the Loiners, but I was only 7 at the time.

I believe it was my first game at Headingley that one.

It was close but not as close as that IIRC. I remember a superb display by Jamie Bloem.

Rumour has it he'd signed on the dotted line just as we got a sniff of his drug issues.

Aye, I remember being gutted when my uncle told me he was leaving, then even more gutted when I found he was a drugs cheat.

As a seven year old he was my hero.

i seem to remember it for some reason! perhaps not at headingley, but definately at an RFL event!

Oh it was certainly at Headingley. Back in the days it was played, I used to sit on the Western Terrace wall, usually in front of a speaker just infront of the advertising hoardings, and remember the music very clearly. It was the music that started once the players came down the steps onto the pitch.

Bolero Closing Credits was used before, then this used to come on. Just came across it by total accident and wondered how many remembered it being played at HQ - not any it seems!

It was definitly played. 2004.
