Why do Leeds find it so hard to score - they need so many opportunities to convert?

Said to my mate Struijk will miss the pen .
Well taken goal by Ranzani but missed another he should be burying same goes for Aaoronssen.
Piroes finish was sublime and I agree why not bring on Tanaka for Gruev at half time.
It`s great we have 70/80% possession and 15/20 shots in most games.
But I would sooner have half that and get the ball in the net ffs.
Three things that will hurt us this season are not converting attempts to goals, lack of experience and not a big enough squad.

can't blame the squad size or farke for missed chances. for me he has to find a place for piroe. against the poor sides I'd start piroe at 9.

I don't think those amounts factor in the 50%-60% wage reduction most of them received after relegation. There's no way Bamford is on 70k in the championship

there's no way piroe, signed for approx £12m, is on 15k a week.

I`m going 2-1 Leeds and I think the team will look like:
Meslier. Boggle, Rodon, Ampadu, Firpo. Tanaka, Gruev. Gnonto, Aaoronssen, Ramazani. Joseph.

Solomon injured again, not ideal, sounds short term though. Bamford picked up a knock in training (LOL).. Struyjik sounds a worry though... Wober may need an Op...

End of Sept to end of October is quite a key time, if we come out of that in good shape we will be in a very good position.. it's a big if though... some tough fixtures and another international break..

Bamford really is the epitome of biscuit bones.

That was a very good team performance.
Only criticism (sorry you know I`ll say something) is Struijk who needs to take a leaf out of Rodons book and Aaronssen who played well but needs a dose of steroids to bulk up next season.
Tanaka and Ramazani look great signings and on a par with Summerville and Rutter.
I also thought Gruev had a good first half.

Yep very good performance that. Results went our way too. Piroe is in very very good form. Joseph needs a goal or 2 though.

Just wish he could win the collision/contact a bit more but take nothing away from his skill and tenacity,
I reckon Byram will play Tuesday in place of Firpo and Tanaka for Ampadu.

Tanaka was superb when came on, that ball to Gnonto for the last goal was sublime.

love away days. good people on our supporters bus too. i could go to norwich but being self employed it's 2 days off so gave it a miss.

I was there this weekend mate. Friday took me 4 hours but coming back just under 3 hours 15.
Was hoping to tag a couple of extra days but the other half needs the car Tuesday.
I doubt the players will do any training on the Wednesday so only Thursday to prepare for the Friday game.

My first time watching the lads live this season, and was keen to see the new players in particular. Got to say Coventry were absolutely dire, but you can only judge the players on what they’ve beaten. Bogle has had some stick but he had a decent game. He won’t be playing Cov every week though. Tanaka looked a good athletic player, liked the way he looked forward when he got the ball. Played a bit deep to judge him offensively, but liked his performance. Ramrazani wasn’t what I expected. Not that he played bad, but I think someone speeded his highlights reel up a fair bit. I would have liked to have seen him looking to get down the flanks, he turned back inside too much for my liking. He then dropped into a central role which is a bit of a worry for me. Why buy a winger and have him playing down the centre of the field ? Gnonto ended up playing the wide role, but that’s a real red flag for me. He’s better doing his work in the middle which is where he finished that goal so well. I’m a bit worried we’ve signed Gnonto Mark 2 in Ramrazani instead of an orthodox flying winger. We’ll know a bit more after the next two games but I’m still worried about the lack of pace in the team without James being available.
