What about Andrew Henderson as a longer term option?

Listening to Marshall's post match interview this afternoon confirmed to me Marshall appears to have the makings of a SL coach. Extremely intelligent & articulate. However there is a delicious irony in you calling Rowley & his team thugs when Jimmy 'out in the car park' Lowes is your first team coach & you were praising his record. His record as a coach is crap & his interviews monosyllabic.

Sal how certain are you that the fall out that you refer to regarding Sinfield supposedly had with GH is actually true?

The change of personnel at HQ and the reasons behind it kind of dispel Sal's theory totally and certainly point the direction of blame regarding Sinny's exit from the club and why he couldn't wait to leave in a totally different light,especially as he has now rejoined the club

Re 2015, I don't care if the entire squad detested McDermott. He got that team to deliver the best season in the club's history - including early doors dropping Sir Kev for Sutcliffe.

Blame McDermott all you want for 2016 and this year (I do), but give him credit for 2015 and 2017. Otherwise be exposed as a full card-carrying hypocrite.

His job title is First team Coach. I had a man crush on Sinfield but putting someone with no official coaching experience in charge, as well as some of GH's responsibilities, along side the much failed First team Coach is a huge gamble.

Didn't Kev and co-coach JP coach the team for years though?

Their opinions are not necessarily correct. I suppose these same play makers opinions are not coloured by having been dropped when out of form and subsequently let go. A tough but necessary decision by the manager at the time.

But... I am really impressed with the things he has had to say and I think ultimately he is the man to sort it out, he mentioned hed like to change some personnel, I wonder if there has been some unrest within the group and it wasn’t all just sbout Brian Mac, maybe some of the players have had the wrong attitude and he wants rid of that, I get the feeling because Sinfield knows what it takes attitude wise to be successful that he he won’t carry anyone who doesn’t have that same attitude within the group.

Its on the tube channel mate 16 minutes its a very good interview tbh sounds like the squad have had to be reminded of their responsabilities as Rhinos players both on & off the pitch.
I also like he's thoughts on selection especially wrt the U19/fringe youngsters.
