What's with the Sky obsession of showing Leeds games this season?

Expecting us to **** it up all the time?

Best dissenters in the game, good for controversy?

We don't seem to be seeing St Helens that often.

McClennan appears conscious of Leeds not revealing their hand too early this season, could Sky always being there have something to do with it?

How many games is that this season TVOC?

Counting from Quins away it will be 6 games in 8 of leeds on Sky if Castleford prooves right.

You might be right, are we making good TV?

It does look like some odd choices for games from Sky in recent weeks.

I would have thought Quins v Hudds would have been the better option over Wakey v Leeds (I know it turned into a good TV game, but you know what I mean) and not sure about why sky are missing Leeds v Hull KR and going for Cas now in a few weeks.

Anyway, I hope they don't move the game to Sunday as I am away diving that weekend hopefully.

A chance for Stevo to bang on about some brave, plucky Yorkshire side putting up a great performance against the Champions, whatever the result. It gives him the chance to blatantly dispute refereeing calls that don't suit his typically Heavy Woollen anti-Leeds agenda.

I would put it past Sky putting Crusaders away on Sky due to the fact its at a different Venue. Saints at home final game of season is a definate for Sky imo. Which could mean Saints and Leeds being on Sky last game of the season for the League Leaders trophy dependent on League points obviously. So all in all our last 6 games could be on Sky.

Look back at last year, our game at Wakey was moved to the Friday night, with no Sky coverage, to coincide with Saints last game at Wigan.

In that circumstance both games must kick off on the same night at the same time for the comps credibility sake.

Yeah I remember that rightly, but thats the obvious isnt it, Saints vs Wigan over-rules Leeds vs Wakefield by a long shot imo. This season is totally different games, by playing both Lower sides. I wouldnt mind a SS1 + SS2 /Split screen but dont think that will ever happen imo, as they do with the football at times.

St Helens were in the box seat and heavy favourites to win the League Leaders Shield. If Leeds had been in that position their game at Wakefield should/would have taken precedence with the cameras while both games kicked off at the same time.

Don't think they can do that due to the contract. They did have games via the Red Button a couple of years ago, but it only lasted a week or two.

You know, I'd forgotten they'd done that for one of the games at Murrayfield. Might be different now, especially if they've signed a new contract after the red button came in.

Yeah, think they did it for the Quins match FWIR. They must have had too change the contract too be able to do this, unless they are only allowed to do it a certain amount of times a season.

I was delievering to the Sainsbury's in Dewsbury last week and I said to the guy there that I expected to see a statue of Stevo on my way through the town - he replied that he wasnt popular and that the locals actually despise him!

Perhaps the great Stephenson of Dewsbury was in fact Nigel - who later in his career went on to kick us out of game after game when he was a part of Peter Fox's Bradford Northern side of the late seventies and early eighties!
