First of all, why on earth would Powell even consider quitting Castleford for anyone? And secondly, a few people on here seem to be misinformed on Gales contract length. He is signed up to the end of 2017 in which case any approach before May 2017 is illegal unless Cas have authorised it, which I doubt.

I'm unsure if you're being sarcastic (appologies if not by the way), but I also work with a bloke who knows Luke's dad very well from living in Miggy, and he has also confirmed that he wants another crack at Leeds. Leeds fall from grace this season has been so spectacular, some of their fans are now wetting themselves at the mere rumour of signing the coach and half back of a useless tinpot club that scored a half century of points against them the other week.

Clearly BD you choose to ignore Cas' long and proud history in developing players. That includes during the SL era - or you don't remember when they got relegated and lost a number of very good homegrown players? Their development efforts may have slowed a bit, but they stand pretty good comparison to Leeds over the last 5 years.
