I'm sure the usual suspects will be along soon to give Mr Agar their support but it's going to be another long hard slog on this evidence. Hull have been nothing special and haven't had to get out of 2nd gear to pick up two easy points.

I’m not so bothered about the score line, we should have bothered the scorers though, but the organisation and players knowledge of where they should be is pretty awful.

Hull will probably go well this year, so I’m not disappointed by the defeat, but the manner of it is not good, and it shows us how much surgery is still required, even in players that have only joined in the last 12-18 months.

Yep that's the summary. I'm sure we'll be treated to the usual cliches and sound bites from the players and club after the game.

I'm trying to look for some positives from todays game, but finding none.

Some dreadful handling errors, no one taking charge on the field, big holes in defence, and no flair in attack. This was a standard performance from an Agar team. There are eleven coaches in Super League who I would rather have in charge at Headingley, and a lot more in the Championship.

What a turgid, abject, depressing performance from us to start the season. Secretly We knew all this was coming, why are we surprised

He's got to be. Some will say we're overreacting as it's only the first game etc. But we've been treated to the same dross for a few years and there's no signs of that changing.

Agar is not under any pressure, he’s stepped in to give us some stability and wasn’t ever in the running for the job for a long term stint anyway.

Sinfield isn’t under pressure either, this is a 3-5 year rebuild due to the complete turd of a team he inherited, the length of their contracts, the age of the promising kids and the players available.

Leeds need to get over the dellusion that they can get backrowers to carry some front row responsibility and be interchangeable. The game wont change you need big bodies. No go forward in edges or middles

Conditions were terrible in the second half and he was playing out of position but Mellor looks like a penalty machine. Gale Didn’t do a lot for me tough having missed two years but he needs to up his game if we are going to avoid a very tough season

I agree with most of that but Agar needs to show hes progressing the squad this year. Hes most definitely under pressure. We are the 8 times champions. It comes with the job. We must improve on last year.
