I have no real issues with Clarke (despite him being a rampant St Helens fan) he and Carney are just about the most palatable amongst the Sky team.

Buderus was outstanding, but to be fair Diskin was also looking very good at hooker also in that 1st 25 minutes.

Hard to judge the two hooker thing though, as Harlequins looked arguably the worst side in super league history.

If it turns out to be that Buderus goes back to Australia my concern wouldn't be the loss of Buderus as an individual per se.

But I WOULD be concerned at the loss of a squad member - and a highly experienced squad member at that.

We need strenght in depth - I firmly believe that is why Leeds have been so successful for the past 3 seasons BUT if we suffer a run of injuries - which could conceivably happen. I would prefer to have someone of Buderus' experience to fill in roles rather than trying to blood a youngster at crucial times of the season.

I fear Leeds have some sort of hoodoo with regards to Aussie players - I can think of a number of examples where we have signed top Aussie guys only for them to be hampered by injury and not make the transition well to English rugby

Just wondering what you would call missing Scott Donald, Brett Delaney, Kevin Sinfield, Ian Kirke and Carl Ablett as Leeds were last night. Not to mention Leeds playing a plumber on the wing. The outside backs are struggling a bit for bodies already with Jones-Bishop gaining valuable SL experience (that he could be getting with a Champion team for the next three months at least.)

i have given my opinion. i really rate both hookers and i think we were right to sign buderus.
up till his freak injury at wigan he was one of the form players of the comp let alone the team.
diskin is clever enough, and tough enough to play second row or at loose as he did last night at times.

Ah yes , the fella who has won 2 Grand finals and 1 WCC , I think its best to leave him to judge how the team is best served in terms of players

Both hookers were outstanding last night, but as already mentioned we were playin pi$$ poor opposition that left acres of space around the ruck area.

Next week we have Huddersfield - a team that slow down in the ruck area a lot! It will be very interesting to see how Diskin and Buderus go on then.
