its only because i have a good VPN connection to the works network from home. thank god for NTL/Virgin.
Streaming issues are usually connected to your speeds. personally I rarely stream through youtube. i use a piece of software called IDM that downloads the videos quickly

I'd go further and suggest Chrome as a browser, better than Firefox in my personal opinion and its what we'll be pushing out onto all the student machines here at work as the default browser with Firefox 2nd and IE 3rd. Even Opera is worth a bash

Tried FireFox the same issue can stream about 10 Seconds worth and that's it the game stops...
Could it be a VirginMedia problem?... |

Virgin Media is meant to be one of the best! I really wouldn’t know what to do mate. It can depend on how many people are watching the website when it comes to films and stuff. Have you tried googling the problem with something a long the lines of ‘why is it taking ages for my videos to buffer’.

When browsing a mainly text based site like this then the difference between a free internet connection and a £30 a month one is negligible, of course if you're using illegal download sites to watch someone's viewing experience of a newly released film whilst using his dads video camera in The Vue, then maybe you do need to pay £30 a month for that - each to his own I suppose.
