| If we do have Hall and Sivo on the wings next year, on a wet and windy Friday night at Craven Park, I know which wing Mikey Lewis will be aiming at. If Momorovski does free up an overseas spot, I think we may be better getting a direct replacement from the NRL. Keep Handley on the wing and for me Jake plays 7 to put pressure on Frawley.

| Sivo is knocking on but he's been class for a while.
I think a back line of
Miller
Hall
Handley
Newman
Sivo
With Connor / Edgell / Lumb /McCormack/ etc as cover is better and more reliable than we have had for a long time.
The go forward in those early tackles shoukd be much better and really help out the forwards

The thing to remember about Sivo is that his try scoring record his unbelievable. Not far off one a game competing with the big beasts in the NRL. If we can't (assuming he comes) get 20 tries out of him next season something is very wrong. I'll be able to live with a few errors in return. Agree with you regards Connor.

| Sivos try scoring highlights seem to mainly show him getting on the end of passes to finish from close range. Not saying it's easy but he doesn't seem to create much himself ie from range and our 6, 7 and 1 need to combine well to make the best use of sivo and Hall.

I'd watch a couple of games, or at least the extended highlights. 15 metres from the line he's not just a full backs nightmare he's a wing, centre and full backs nightmare. Agree though, Arthur set up his left side well enough to insure he had a number of walk ins, but any wingers highlight reel has a lot of those.

14. Holroyd
15. Lisone
16. Jenkins
17. O’Connor
In the gf Wigan had 3 props on the bench. Jenkins can do some second row if required. O’Connor can cover 9 and 13 and McDonnell can shift to centre if we pick up an injury.
That is a lot bigger and more powerful starting pack and bench than we have had for a few years.
We then have sangare and TNW in reserve with Bentley and Littlewood in reserve for back row.'"
McDonnell to centre good grief FYI Jenkins was one of the fastest 19year olds over 100m in Australia he could probably give McDonnell half a pitch start and still beat him over the other side a good grafter ill give you.

Yeah but we are talking about McDonnell covering centre if. If a starting centre gets injured. We should not carry a back on the bench, if a back isn’t fit then he doesn’t play. If you want to move Jenkins to centre over McDonnell if we get an injury that’s fine as well. However, if Jenkins is going to come as a prop who can cover back row then I’d probs move a back row one out to centre over him.

| Sivo is looking increasingly likely presumably with Momorovski making way. I’m not a technician but we would have 3 left wingers. If Handley moves to centre, who plays left/right wing and is it much of a transition to switch wings? Presumably the wingers would prefer Handley or even Jake as their centre rather than Newman!

I think Hall can play RW which he did whilst in the NRL without scoring a try in the year he was there I might add.

I'd have Handley with with Sivo on the left. Nice combination of pace and power. In the early part of the year, when Ash was with Momirovski he did a lot of damage from centre, so confident he can adapt with a scary foil in Sivo. Ryan could be just what Newman needs on the right. A calming voice and somebody he respects enough to provide good ball to.

| Sivo outside of Handley will be immense. He'll rip up SL if we provide him with the base. BA clearly knows how to get the best out of him. Hall on the other wing likewise. All of a sudden we have significant attacking threat right across the backline.

Will be nice to ( hopefully) see what our play makers and hooker can do with more go forward and more strike options

The club are clearly playing the game regarding Sivo's signing announcement as he apparently signed 2 weeks ago
My only concern regarding Handley playing centre is if his defense will be good enough defending the most dangerous area of the field with potentially 3 runners running the channels?

I'd like to think this will bring out the best in Ackers. He's clearly a talent at 9 and we've not seen him anywhere near his best. We know what Croft can do, we've seen it in flashes, and I do think Frawley, on the front foot, will go much, much better next term. He'll have to, mind.

| That's the hope. With Connor breathing down his neck and hopefully a losn for Sinfield so he gets weekly games.
For Ackers I agree. We finally have enough bodies at prop, now to see if BA can get them running hard and keeping hold of the ball

| I find the Parramatta fan comments on Sivo a bit concerning particularly after his performance this weekend. Hopefully his defensive weaknesses are less prominent in the lesser SL competition.

| I don't think he can be really judged off one international game this weekend. BA will know him well enough to know his weaknesses in defence, and hopefully but a structure in place to not get him isolated. Looking at his highlights/tries, he seems to score the same try over and over again, which implies teams can review it and try to defend against it, but he'll still score. Really confident in the backline to get some good metres out of backfield and set a platform for the forwards. Hopefully it enables Ackers to run at broken lines a bit more.
PS: the video of Maika's dad coming over to surprise him for Fathers Day is brilliant.
