I was just thinking the same, it's a vivid memory for me too.I think it was Paul Hulme he floored right in front of the ref, live on BBC aswell!

Cas and Huddersfield fans reckon that Ablett is the most dirtiest player in the game.
Yes, I know, don't know here they get it. But they spout it a lot all the same.

Dont get me wrong i think he's a good BR and more than useful LC but enforcer he certainly is not.

He's a winder-upper, got punched at least 3 times in the last 18 months or so - Wood, Briers, Wardle - and not retaliated on any, but he's taken them all comfortably so wouldn't say he was soft either.....shame for the ladies as it's starting to ruin his good looks.

| Any forward who picks on a little tart like Lee Briers in order to elicit a handbag type response and a penalty is unworthy of respect. Ablett is a big girls blouse who belongs in soccer.

| Karl's dad Jack Fairbank was one of the best enforcers for Leeds along with Brian Shaw. Plenty of other real enforcers were around like Rocky Turner and Vince Karalius who you just didn't want to mess with.

| And right on cue, the South Leeds Boiler turns up in defence of the former Parkside Ponce!
One way of deflecting attention away from his massaged and incomplete statistical analyses I suppose.
TVOC by plenty!

| Who'd have thought it, William annoyed at Ablett, because he spends time winding up others to get a response.
Oh the irony lol

| Worst stiff arm tackle I have seen, Kurt Sorenson on Andy Goodway. This game Great Britain versus New Zealand at elland road. It was that late play had gone past and Goodway had dropped his hands,it was the ultimate cheap shot.
Never the less it was effective ,Goodway was duly shipped off to hospital .

| Castlefords dennis hartley was the daddy of them all. He didn't look it but just ask any one who played against him, especially the contested scrums part.

| Seems he's still very much on the outer at Leeds - still nowhere near the squad, and didnt go to Odsal with the team yesterday.
Anyone got any news on the latest?
I also notice that his bromance with Delaney seems to have cooled recently. Linked?

This.
Its kind of funny. I was under the impression the whole TMFMISL thing was an inside joke to wind up those gobby scousers during our run in's with them on the boards due to Ryan being very successful in winding folk up on and off the terraces.
Suddenly some people actually forgot this was a joke and actually started believing the hype.
He's reaching the stage now where he should be at his peak and I for one would really like to see him drop the "rude bwoy" act and concentrate on getting back to the level he was at circa 2004 instead of the pantomime villain coasting rut he seems to be in at the moment. He has the tools, he has the ability and I believe he's got the gumption to do it too and I really hope he does instead of the flashes we get to see now and again when he's playing for a contract.

| The games Ryan has played this season, he has been very good, I'm not bothered what he does away from the pitch as long as he is performing on it.

What a strange comment.
He hasn't being very good. He has been good in two performances. Both those two on the back of being disciplined and dropped, and trying to prove a point when back in.
His indiscipline is not helping us at all, and setting a really bad example to others in the club.

| I think when on form he is a decent player but he does lack consistency and this off field sh## is getting daft so i wouldn't be sad to see him moved on.
