There's a McD's at Farnley right next to my proposed site . And it is nearer for Damo .

I’d like to see it relocated pretty near to my house, not that near so it would infringe on home but not so far that it wouldn’t be more than a couple of miles.

I’d like it located somewhere where there are a lot of pubs, restaurants, cafés, shops, banks and shops. Where there is plenty of safe near parking and a buzzing atmosphere.

Close to a central bus route and train station (always thinking of the poor) and hotels and B&Bs in abundance.

I sat and watched the 66 World Cup Final in B&W on our little TV set at home, the occasion of the first match at Headingley was late August/early Sept of the same year, that song was #1 in the charts in the last week in August.

Care in the community Rob mate – it’s the only explanation as to why people like Damo are free to roam the fair streets of our great city.

Its probably just as well though when you read stories like the one I read in the deeds to our last house.

In a nutshell (see what I did there), the bloke who'd bought the house in 1935 (Mavis Lane) came home from the war a nervous wreck and in the mid 1950's he was committed to High Royds after a nervous breakdown. These days they'd treat you with drugs and a few months off work, back then they just locked you away and threw away the key, he was incarcerated at High Royds until he finally committed suicide in the 1970s - all of this was written in an affidavit as part of the deeds as his wife had kept the house until she went into care in the late 1990s, their niece had to declare all of this to get a power of attourney.

I know of two people who have had what is loosely described as a "nervous breakdown" in the last two years, both were treated successfully and back at work (albeit different work) within a few months.
