Exibit A-He signed an already injured Dom Crosby an aversge L.Briscoe dont even get me started on Jordan Thompson & made Ferres Captain alkng with giving Ablett who was retiring due to injury a 2yr deal & extended Jjb's deal when he was gone as a player.
Exibhit B-Hired Furner promised to back him but then sacked him after nobody liked what Furner was doing & what he wanted to do with the squad.

Exibhit C- Hired Agar who has FAILED in every SL head Coach job gave assistent jobs to Walker Jjb & Webster who the brutal honesty os not 1 of them deserve that role nor have they earned it.

Now i think signing Hurrell Ava Martin Gale Prior are decent moves i see the potential in Leeming & Mellor but lets not forgethe signed Rhys Evans extended Crosbys deal when we had 1st hand views of his injury issues extended Donaldsons deal who although very game is very ordinary gave Lui a 2 & half deal really? & gave L.Briscoe a 3yr deal & let Merrin go without replacing him.

Thats what im privvy to & i left out fat Tui because some say that was GH.

Whatever or whoever Sinfield did or gets rid of, it wouldn’t be enough as shown by the above post.

I see only inconsistency in Martin if im honest. I certainly dont see anywhere near the player others seem to do. I certainly dont see any improvement in the team at all. This team is so short of pace its unbelievable.

As ive said previously I think Gale is an important but only if he stays fit, which given he is coming off 2 major injuries is a big risk.

Crosby wasn’t injured when he signed, Ferres was according to players a very well respected player so not sure why you've got an issue with him captaining a few games (ferres has gone by the way) Jordan thompson was nothing but a short term stop gap signing.

Donaldson has been a good call, you obviously disagree but its far from a sign that Sinfield is out of his depth.

Furner was a mistake which he rectified.


Look if I’m honest its a pointless debate and we’ll never agree be ause were looking at it from different angles, Sinfield came back to a club that was in a right state less than 2 years ago, said it would take a good few years to put right and I believe him. He will make some mistakes along the way as that’s the nature of sport

If it’s from when Martin joined then yes, it has improved a lot.

Crosby joined with a knee injury mate hence him going into those bottom eights with it strapped & by his own admission which resulted in surgery.
Ferres was & always was sh#@ in a Leeds shirt ive seen more Csptain credentials in John the programme seller ( No disrespect John)
Also re-the other stuff highlighted why would we need the reasons for those calls when we know they were poor calls?
One thing Sinfield does know & has always said is the standsrd required to play for this Club then he's signed sh#te that isnt a "sporting misake" its poor judgement.
If you've got a Salary Cap do you waste it on 2 or 3 nobodies/average at best or back your Acadamy & wait for the right quality?
Do you think GH & since he arrived Sinfield have done a good job & signed the right calibre of players we require?
We may look at it from different angles but at the same time how do you get the opinion We are better than performances & results show or that Agar & co are better than i & others think they are.
Of corse we are 1 game into a new season but the same errors are there the rudderless attack the holes in the defence & going with 1 34yr old prop on the bench against the 2nd best pack in the League.

So were back to judging it on one game.

Fwiw id love Agar & co to prove me wrong & do think we have better players than last year but we still need a fair few more & less journeymen.

I see improvement in the squad, but that’s struggling to translate into the pitch. It’s still early with the new players in the squad and I’m confident they will gel and improve.

I’m massively reserving judgement on the coaching set up. Someone posted that they think we are saving money whilst paying off Furner, which I’m tempted to believe. Coaches are not salary capped so there’s no excuse for not getting the best you possibly can. I don’t think we’re doing that, something doesn’t add up there IMO.

Fwiw I don’t think Sinfield sees Agar as long term coach hence the 1 year deal, they only thing that would change that would be if he had a very successful year, and I would love for that to happen.

I get that Sinfield doesn’t think Agar is the long term answer, but I do think we could have moved more quickly to secure a coach who would be long term. Griffin has been mentioned and would have been a massive upgrade on Agar.

The cancellation of today’s game doesn’t really help us in some regards, it leaves us with a game in hand but short of two potential points meaning we pretty much must win the HKR game or we start slipping behind again for the third season in a row.

Mistakes? Well, I think it‘s still to early to say on a few signings. Some others yes I would put in that category - although to be fair most have been moved on if they’re not up to it.

The likes of Dwyer, Briscoe x 2, Myler, Donaldson is very average, Sutcliffe, Crosby - will he ever play? Cuthbertson, Evans, that's a big change round at the end of the season plus the younger players that wont make it

Bit difficult to say unless you know what they are being paid. What if Crosby was on £60k per season for 3 years but it would have been 90k for two? Gives him the same money but us more cap room...

All depends on the the deal but I was surprised when Donaldson got two years but knowing GH he'll have got him cheap.

Donaldson needed 2 years cos thats how long it will take him to break a tackle. People tell me hes good though.

I'm more concerned by L. Sutcliffe's lack of attacking threat, tbh, especially since he seems to be much higher up in the pecking order than Donaldson.
