Perhaps if your coach had allowed the players to prepare properly like elite athletes, instead of cancelling their warm weather training and making them crawl round an army camp in the mud..... just to prove a point!! then you might at least be winning the odd game.

It weren't an army camp, that would have been way too obvious so they became farm labourers instead.
It worked in Paul Dixon and Karl Fairbank's day though. |

Wigan have done that the last two pre-seasons. Doesn't seem to have done them any harm. |
